I didn't at all to be honest. And like Elizabeth said, people love cliffhangers but I think the industry has created these rules and expect that everyone should conform to a formula. To me, that makes my book no more exciting than someone else's and they wonder why every book looks the same, sounds the same etc and STILL complain. So, I will do what I want with my writing and if people don't like it, I didn't write it for them.

You have to trust your gut and your story. My romance ends in a cliffhanger and I've only had one person complain in a review. Others had good complaints, (i.e, can't wait for the second book) but it's ultimately, it's going to be how you feel about it. If it scares you change it, but then you have more work to do. It's a pickle

Im starting with shorts of paranormal, but essentially I want to move into feature films of all kinds. Have a long way until I get to that point though

Filmmaking it's what I did in a sense before I published in Feb.

My best investment seriously has been meeting all the wonderful authors here and on Facebook. Without your vast knowledge and experience I'd be utterly lost and stumbling in the dark alone.

I actually have never heard of that issue before. You would have to contact Magzter directly since i have no clue what's could be happening. Is it one of the ads in the magazine or a pop up? If magazine, tap the bottom of your screen and all pages will show and you can move about that way. Hope that's helps a little.
