Alex I uploaded the d2d ePub files since they create them and give them to you free regardless of if you use their service. And yes going direct worked like a charm. Unlike Amazon, they have built in promotions that cost from 0.00-10.00 where they take an additional 10% for the zero dollar option or whatever option you choose, it just depends and they have a TON of awesome promos for your books.
It puts your book on the front page no algorithm wizardry needed and you don’t have to play a cat and mouse game for visibility. The book has made more money in 3 days there than it has on Amazon for an entire month. Just play with your options. Your already wide, so there’s nothing to lose either way.

I went direct with Kobo a few days ago (took it off Draft2Digital) and sales are booming over there. Canada and Africa selling the most. Kobo is the leader outside of the US, so it was what convinced me to try it. If anyone is already wide, consider going direct with kobo and see how and if things change for you.

No problem. Everyone who submitted I’m trying to get in first come first served. So if you don’t see it yet it’ll be there next month

Guys just an FYI the latest edition of the magazine is on Magzter and we will publish there from now on. It seems easier for a lot of people

True I was already up and they kept popping up in my notifications. Trust me I’m not gonna lose the little sleep I get lol

He has created at least 5 profiles this week alone and now posts late night. I block him and delete thread and topic as soon as they come in. One night it was back and forth. Then he resurfaced at 3:30 am. I barely sleep and took those down too. It’s annoying as shit. Sorry for my language I’m just over his bs

Yeah I unchecked that box REAL quick. I wonder if they realize that’s not something you can do anymore?

Huh that’s weird. I never saw that I need to go check

Thanks guys. If anyone would like to send condolences or cards you can send them to Guttermans Funeral home in Woodbury New York. The service will be tomorrow at 9 am. Flowers aren’t accepted there as part of a Jewish ceremony though. Other than that, I guess you can reach out to her personally via email if you wish cnbbook@gmail.com if you want to express condolences in private. I’m still in shock myself but if I think of anything else I’ll let you all know. Xoxo

I’m sorry to have to report that yesterday Carole’s husband passed away. Please keep her and her family in your prayers during this difficult time. Things may be quiet for a short while but I know you guys understand. Thank you for being such a great community where we can share these personal life experiences together and shows of support. -RL

That’s cool Karen. As long as they are submitted by the 10th I can get as many in there as possible.

Hi Guys,
If you would like to include an excerpt of your book in the magazine please submit on the website by clicking the "SUBMIT" tab, upload all required areas, your excerpt: "MYAWESOMEBOOK-EXCERPT.doc" and choose "Article" as the application.
Take a look in our current month's magazine featuring NYT Bestseller Alessandra Torre and see how the excerpt looks in that edition. www,

Yeah I’ve noticed those huge prices for trads and I’d rather by 4 indies at 3.99 before giving one author that doesn’t need as much support my money

I hope it’s not true either. There’s only so much we can take.

Feels like the sky is falling on authors. I just read in another author group that someone went to change the price on a book and amazon sneakily has a new rate set at 50% for books 2.99 and over. Some are saying they will reserve the 70% to those that are exclusive to Amazon, but no one is really sure. Not sure what else 2018 has in store for us authors this year, but we have to be ready for some serious and possibly even scarier changes to come soon. Grrrr

That speech still has my skin goosebumped

You’ve missed a lot my friend
