185 No worries:)
185 wow, that’s definitely the one I was thinking of... but I never once considered it was part of this series while
I was looking for it! Obviously I need to reread this series ;)

Is it the one you were looking for Tamara?
185 Lol, no worries. Glad you found it. Enjoy.
185 Are you sure it’s not the Melody Anne series? One of the families in those are Anderson’s...?
185 Nothing Left to Lose is similar. They do t know each other from kids tho.

185 Hope so, sounds good
185 Melody Anne billionaire series. Think there’s kind of two trilogies. First one from memory covers three cousins, and the next one perhaps are their second cousins?

185 If it’s that ‘too cool to approach and walked thru the lobby to disappear in the elevator’ point you listed above, it’s definitely the one I was thinking of.

Will have a look tonight, see if I can find it.
185 Grays Hill has some bits in common.

185 No time travel, but there’s one that has a bunch of entitled teens ruling new orleans(?) because as crow shifters, they are shifter rulers. The h is holiday/working at her dads(?) hotel, and hits it off with lead teen guy. There’s a ‘ring’ for engagement that once committed, it CAN’T come off and he tricks her into it. The bad guys get her and by holding her, the next generation can’t be born or something.

If it sounds familiar, I’ll look for it.
185 Yeah, I did that for a while too, but haven’t been bothered for a couple years. Nothing that’s popped to mind about this book has led me to it then. I’m pretty sure I read it while I was ‘supa Shelving’. I’ll keep looking tho. I wanna reread it again now ;)
185 I’m the same on iPad books, never pay attention to the covers... but when I think of this book, I ‘see’ reddish brown cover with maybe a building/architecture look? Not a whole building, more like looking thru an arch on the building or something...

I could be entirely wrong about that being related to THIS book tho. It’s just what jumps to mind.

Another problem with ebooks too is that authors often change covers because they can do it in a few clicks rather than worrying about reprints, so it’s hard to pin them down.
185 I was wondering about the law/mores that allowed men to kidnap and rape women with high social standing or dowry... and then be able to claim/marry them.

I’m going to say ‘obviously’ that rule wasn’t extended to the common man raping a high born woman and claiming her thereafter...

Was there any specific reason why it was ok for ‘gentlemen’ to rape a woman for this reason, but not the low born? Or was it just that ‘gentlemen’ weren’t really in the wrong to take what they want?
185 Engaging the Enemy. Set up in a dark room to get an heir.
