There was a series on Muncher games. Math Muncher, Word Muncher, Number Muncher, etc.

I've worked with the guy my entire time here and it's more stupidity then anything else. A lot of stupidity.

We had our inventory last week where basically everything was shut down. This week it's hit the ground running trying to get everything done for month end. On Monday I followed up on some stuff that we just needed a couple more things on. I get a response stating that the stuff was never ordered because sales guy has not provided need information in over a month. Frustrating but whatever. Sales person is on the email and all should be good. Tuesday the sales guy is in the office and I'm giving him the gears about this stuff. He responds that he knows nothing about it. I then show him all the emails about it. He storms off to look into it. Today I'm getting grilled by the boss about what is going out for month end. I don't include any of this stuff in question because I still haven't heard anything back. Boss then asks about it as the sales person told him that all the parts are here and it's ready for month end. I then have a bit of a moment where I break down everything that has been happening the last couple of days. Boss goes back to the sales person to ask him about it. Comes back and states that the sales person knows nothing about what I said.

Then there is more crap with a certain manager from another department that keeps dumping crap on me. That's not even touching on the stress from the day to day crap I'm dealing with.

I'm not having a good day to say the least and I think my eye might be twitching. (hide spoiler)]

I've got a semi reflective strip and patch on my backpack but nothing on the front. I don't know what it is about that intersection that makes it worse than the others. I cross a lot of intersections getting to work and there is only the one that gives me a problem.

Yet again I'm nearly ran over in the same damned intersection by stupid drivers. I swear it's at least once a week that I nearly get run down in the same place. Same scenario every time as well. I'm either crossing or about to cross the street, on a green light, and some jackass making a left turn can't wait an extra 30 seconds for a pedestrian and has to blow through the intersection. This morning I as in the middle of the lane when the latest jackass has to get wherever right now decide to try to get through the intersection. They ended up stopping only 3'-4' from me which isn't the worst I've had there. Sure it's "dark" out but there are streetlights everywhere and it's not like I blend into the shadows either. Any way it's just one more thing to add to the list of things making me irritable this week. (hide spoiler)]

We can do that. I'm not sure when I'm getting my copies.

I should have known that this was coming. I have a 9 week wait for Beyond Reach and a 19 week wait for Triptych right now. I'm sure it will be sooner than that as not everyone is going to take the full three weeks to read the book but still.

Time to start Faithless. I know I'm cutting it close to the end of the month but it's been a busy month. I'm both looking forward to this and kind of dreading it at the same time. Chapter two is just Lena being Lena and man it's a lot.

It looks like I was forced over to the new page lay out and I don't like it. I have no idea where any of the things are any more.

Oh... that will be rough. I read that as an adult and that ending messed me up. I don't really remember a lot of it as it has been a while but it messed me up.

Spies

It's also been a good long while since I read the first one. As a result I'm sitting here every thirty seconds or so going "who are you?". I'm not sure if it's a character from the previous book or someone with a similar name that I just read. I'm just to tired to be reading this.

The down side is that this book is super popular so it will be a wait for my chance to read it again. Maybe I'll just wait until the popularity cools down and the library has all the books and just start over.

I tried starting The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System: Ren Zha Fanpai Zijiu Xitong (Novel) Vol. 2 and I just can't get into it at the moment. I'm only a few pages deep and all the names and locations are making my eyes glaze over. It's not that I don't want to read it but I just don't think I can right now. I need something I can turn my brain off and just take in pretty pictures.

I like to read the news so I know what is going on around me locally and in the world in general. That being said there have been more and more moments over the last few years where I just need to step back from things. I just feel overwhelmed, blue, etc and I'll take a few days where I just won't look at the news.

Small update so I can start the new week fresh.

Like I said yesterday if you like the rest of the series then you will also like this book. For myself I had basically the same issues I had with the rest of the series. I don't think this series can properly end a story line. There were a few times where it felt like the story could end nicely and then I would realize that there is still X amount left in the book. We then get to the end and there are story lines left unfinished, cliff hanger revelations for future books, and I'm left thinking "what the hell was that?" The humor was rather hit or miss for me. Sure there were moments I would chuckle at something but a lot of it just wasn't for me. The big "twist" wasn't much of a twist in my opinion as I guessed it pretty much from the get go. So to have to go through the entire book with everyone stumbling around the super obvious answer was a bit annoying. It's not a bad book but I wasn't very impressed either.

I need some comfy vibes after the last couple of days of work and this was perfect for me. I also needed to get it back to the library as well. This was the perfect manga to relax with as it's about cute kitties. Not a lot to say and it did its job.

Much like Cat Massage Therapy these were some perfect manga to just unwind with. I enjoy reading Komi and it was fun to read. Now I want to talk about the ending of volume 16. Spoilers ahead

I'm fully on board with the Tadano/Komi relationship but the ending of 16, plus the cover of 17, has me concerned for my favorite character. I can't explain it but I like Manbagi and the last panel with her crying because she knows what is going on just hurts. I don't want to see this innocent cinnamon roll hurt and the cover to 17 shows that there is a lot of pain to come. Don't get me wrong I know that things will work out. Her and Komi will still be friends and what not but still. (hide spoiler)]

As for for my next audiobook I decided to clean up some challenges. I'm going to listen to . Hopefully it's a decent book.

I have a feeling that I will like it. I'm a fan of these young detective series.

I'd be tempted to join in but my library has a 3+ month wait list for the books. Between that and already being committed to a bunch of things I'll pass but the book is getting add to my TBR.
