Yes I think so. There are other variations where a girl can be born without a uterus, but as far as I know MRKH is the only variation where both the vagina and uterus are absent.

I might be able to help out with this - give me a few days to ask around a bit and I'll come back with an answer.

179584 In Graz the Uhrturm was illumined in orange, and the Burgtheater in Vienna as well.

I couldn't find any pictures of the Uhrturm illumined, but this is what it looks like normally:

I will never understand how you cannot fight against both - against pipelines AND sexism. I see how the pipelines are highly problematic, but so is the sexism in Hollywood.

The one quote that always gets me is this one:
"Buddy received his honorable discharge
from the Marine Corps just about the time a government
bullet killed him. He is buried on the hill by the ditch ,
joining the ghosts of all the other Sioux killed at Wounded
Knee. His headstone says: "Two thousand came to
Wounded Knee in 197 3 . One stayed. ""

179584 Today I was very busy on Twitter, very, very busy:

179584 Hm, I love reading non-fiction and fiction alike. It depends on the subject sometimes.
Maybe your "sample size", so to speak, was not the biggest?
I have no idea if it's really man=non-fiction and woman=fiction, or more complex.
But I think that OSS is the perfect place to find out.
179584 Thanks for sharing - I am listening to it right now.

I deemed it necessary:)

I think English is slowly catching up - Delores Schilling said it is difficult for her to talk about it (she is not Two-Spirit), because there are so many words in each Native language and English only has transgender. (As you said, that is slowly changing, but who outside of the respective communities really knows what they mean, given they even have heard it)
@DelSchilling
A wonderful episode with a Two-Spirit person:

179584 Okay, a story about murder and it was deemed important enough by the settlers to celebrate a "thanksgiving" (for the murder of Native Americans, remind you)

I might come up with any more information later, when I do my daily NativeAmericanHeritageMonth thread. Let's see what NativeTwitter talks about today.

179584 Everyone,

November is NativeAmericanHeritageMonth!
Did you know there are 565 federally recognized tribes in the US? That almost half of them are in Alaska?
That they are allowed to vote since 1962 in all States and are citizens of the US since 1924 (and that after Wounded Knee, 1890, where 300 Lakota, Dakota and Nakota men, women and children were killed).

Lakota Woman (movie and book); Mary Crow Dog (also known as Mary Brave Bird and Mary Brave Woman Olguin, and yes, they did give her the name "Brave Woman" for a reason)

179584 It is really horrible, and what I think is really bad is how the judge won't accept social media messages as evidence.
Because now that he doesn't, a part of the truth can't be taken into account.
And while presumptio of innocence should ALWAYS be a given, it is definitely not okay to not accept evidence.
Also, the media has to be impartial - but as I see it the news report was impartial - they have informed of what both sides have done and what their views are.

179584 Lakota Woman by Mary Crow Dog.
This book really lifts me up in some way. If you want to read a book about a woman that went to to extreme lenghts in her life, read it.

She did get the name "Brave Woman" for a reason.
