Even when they were younger, Cersei was super manipulative.

How did they already know his plans?

So I know at the start he's dreaming as his wolf. When he's talking about his brothers and sisters, it has to do with the wolves. At one point he mentions "his sister had left the wilds, to walk in the halls of man-rock where other hunters rule..." Is he talking about Nymeria? Where could that be?

I wonder what it was that he read. "It seems I must be a warrior." ← was it a prophecy of sorts?
"In all the world there were but three living dragons, and those were hers; they were a wonder, and a terror, and beyond price."
There is logic to what Jorah is recommending, but I feel like he's stirring the pot and trying to push doubt into Dany's head.
And that was kind of a creepy move Jorah!

I'm curious to know how Mance knew of Ned's bastard.
Now I can't help but want to look back at the first book and see if there is any mention of Mance at the feast!

So... I'm like 2 weeks behind now. lol

Ser Loras is a bit pissy.
Lady Olenna is pretty awesome. She definitely speaks it like it is.

I can't imagine being stuck where he is. That would be horrible!
I"m still curious as to why he considers his finger bones lucky.

I've been getting to about a chapter a day right now. Things have been busy so haven't had a chance to get much reading done in general.

I think Tommen will listen to the High Sparrow for a time. The High Sparrow used his biggest weakness against him-wanting to be a good king/not having a good example of leadership.

Bronn totally took Tyrion's idea (with the chain) as his sigil and that's kind of messed up.
"Had he suffered any harm? Taken a wound? Mussed his hair, stubbed his toe, cracked a nail?" ← lol

How did Tyrion know something was wrong right off the bat?

Tywin sucks. He's a horrible dad.
about a theory that has popped up in the last few weeks about Tyrion→ (view spoiler)[There is a theory that Tyrion isn't Tywin's son. I feel like this chapter could bear truth to that. Tyrion is trying to claim his birthright of Casterly Rock, but Tywin says "Never." Tywin then goes on to say "You are an ill-made, devious, disobedient, spiteful little creature full of envy, lust, and low cunning. Men's laws give you the right to bear my name and display my colors, since I cannot prove that you are not mine."
I'm not sure I believe this theory, but this section could add some truth to it. (hide spoiler)]

I'm pretty sure Arya is the youngest in this little trio and I kind of like that she's in charge.

I can only imagine how awkward it must be to need to punish their king's mother.
"She still grieved for Ned, she would always grieve for Ned..." ← I think she really did grow to love Ned despite it being an arranged marriage (and supposed to have married Ned's brother).
I wonder who Tansy is.
"You'll have others... sweet babes, and trueborn." ← Is that to Tansy or to Catelyn?
Why are they so reluctant to tell her about Robb's wound? He's her son, she should be told of these things!
It's kind of a random conclusion she came to about her sister Lysa.

I'm really curious as to why Jaime is being so antagonizing towards Brienne, when she is kind of saving his life.
So Jaime doesn't know who sent the guy after Bran. I don't remember, but thus far in the books, has anyone fessed up?
"I don't look as much like Cersei this way. She'll hate that." ← For some reason, that kind of creeps me out.
"She's the Hound with teats." ← I can kind of see that comparison. Although, she has the mindset/morals of the true knights Sansa was always talking about. I wonder if they're supposed to represent two sides of the same coin. They're not technically knights, but are sworn to serve others in some way.
I love Brienne. She's totally awesome.

I use the little Post It flags. There are just basic ones, some shaped like arrows, but I like the Wal-Mart brand version of the flags best. They're more opaque and stick better in my opinion.

I used to love tabbing books. I'm not sure why I stopped, but I plan on starting again with later books and other books I'm reading.

Why would the dogs be afraid of a bear?
And not a fan of Chett! This traitorous plan is like him throwing the silliest (and violent) temper tantrum ever.
I kind of like Small Paul and I think they tricked him into joining this mission.
I kind of find it entertaining that he thinks snow (the weather event) ruined his overthrow/escape attempt and Snow (Jon) is the one who made him lose his job.

So I've already read this and when I did I was all about using post it's to tab favorite parts. There are so many tabbed parts and I'm excited to come across them again and share them!
