177170 Jaime is pretty legit as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.
177170 It kind of bums me out that Bronn bailed on Tyrion.
"The day I fear a dwarf's wrath is the day I drown myself in a cask of red."
So much for innocent until proven guilty!
What's the "Doom"?
177170 I can only imagine how alone Arya feels. :(
Arya definitely has wolf dreams like Bran. It feels good knowing Nymeria (in theory) is still alive.
177170 "The wall is yours, Jon Snow."

177170 I vote you can start one! I would love to join in on that. I've read them, but I love rereading them and reading them alongside a newbie is just so exciting. I'm actually planning on reading them in french this year! (or at least start reading them)

I'm also super excited to read The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings. I've been wanting too, but anytime I pick up The Hobbit by myself I just can't get through it.

Another series that I'd want to buddy read is the Shannara series by Terry Brooks. There's an MTV series for it which isn't too bad. My hubby read them way back, but doesn't really read anymore (boo) so I haven't been successful in convincing him to read them with me. lol
177170 I really like Davos. I liked seeing him reflect on what he wanted when he was younger versus when he was older.
"And I know that a king protects his people, or he is no king at all."
177170 It's so obvious that Loras cared for Renly. He's more upset about his death and Brienne than he is for Joffrey!
I love how he's all about wanting to marry Cersei but with his dad he's all about honoring his vows and staying Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.
177170 I wonder why the guy rowing the boat looks familiar... Oswell
"Always keep your foes confused." I'd say he succeeded!
177170 Hmm... So Joffrey is responsible for the attack on Bran with the knife?
"But who will protect her from Joff?"
What is vair? - "silvery satin trimmed in vair"
Gah, I'm so not a fan of Joffrey! He is seriously so mean!
I'm curious about why Cersei assumed it was Tyrion-what was the proof for her?
177170 That was an odd interaction over the dagger. I wonder if Tyrion thinks he is somehow inolved in what happened to Bran.
177170 I seriously love how gentle and kind Tyrion is with Sansa.
"Winter is coming... But it is high summer for House Lannister. So why am I so bloody cold?"
I feel like that was random he wanted to marry Shae off.
177170 Yay Barristan! Boo Mormont!

You mean the letter from the Wall that he was reading with the maester, or the one he read to Stannis? (Though I think it's actually the sa..."

That makes sense. Davos was talking about his experiences with the wildlings and with the Night's Watch so that could be it-he has a better grasp on what could go wrong if the Wall were to fall/fail.
177170 I love hearing about all the old stories Old Nan used to tell.
That is such a creepy/cool gate!
I wonder the importance of Bran thinking the door/tree shed a tear (if any at all).
177170 I have such a hard time reading through the battles.
I really think Ygritte cared for Jon and vise versa.
177170 "You are grown so very great now, yet the higher a man climbs the farther he has to fall."
Why would he find that letter troubling?
177170 They were probably talking about Theon's dad. I had such a space case moment! Thank you!
177170 I love how nice he is to Sansa. I wish she realized this and was nice back...
Probably a silly question but who's Greyjoy again?
OMG he just sent the king to bed. lol Love it!
Huh... So Martell's problem with the Lannisters and the Mountain are strictly because of Tywin.
I wonder how they found Arya.
177170 "The black sky wept, the river grumbled, men cursed and died."
177170 I kind of love how feisty Smalljon is until the end: ripping off table tops, bludgeoning people with a leg of mutton...
