Those pictures are great!

Really I do like Stannis even though he is boring. But to me he is the rightful heir and he would do so much better away from Mellisandre.
177170 Yes this book did seem a bit different than the rest right off the start. Even as I entered the thread names I was caught off guard. I was really anxious to start it because of that.

But keep going and familiar characters will surface.
177170 Not this particular one, but the odd chapter here and there, yes. (Dorne ones)
177170 I forgot who Alayne was for a bit. I had to read a fair amount until it clicked. Duh!
177170 Oh it was so excellent to have reached another Arya chapter. The Dorne parts are kind of getting dull right now for me.

I think Syrio was a Faceless man. This chapter brought his name into play 3 times. Coincidence? I think not. That is not how GRRM rolls.

Oh wait, wait. Or else he is Jagan himself. (however you spell his name)
177170 I don't understand the flour in the saddlebag. What was the purpose of having flour inside?

Is that a movie? I love Charkes Dance so much.
177170 Roseanne wrote: "

I got confused by that and had to reread and checked out the summary. I was mindblown.. so yes I think you did just read that Roseanne.
177170 "Crow's Eye you call me. Well who has a keener eye than the crow? After every battle the crows come in their hundreds and their thousands to Feast upon the fallen. A crow can espy death from afar. And I say that all of Westeros is dying. Those who follow me will Feast until the end of their days. "

I was trying to figure out why this book is called "A Feast For Crows". As far as I can see that quote sums it up quite well.
177170 Roseanne wrote: "Can I just say how difficult it is not to look at the chapters I haven't read yet. I'm dying here. I only looked one chapter ahead of where I am so far. I am going to have to start reading faster b..."

Lol
Stop it!!!
177170 Oh but I still like her.
177170 Oh Cersei is one devious lady. She makes this book so interesting.

She really is no better than the whores sure belittles. She is doing something similar by having that guy hurting and killing people with the promise of sex.
177170 Oh Jaime you need to face reality. Tyrion was telling the truth about your skanky sister. He is so naive when it comes to Cersei.
177170 Samwell's father's way of teaching him how to swim is just awful! I would lie to throw him in the lake with a heavy weight around his ankle.

"Fat men take a cushion with them wherever the dry go. "
See Sam isn't so stupid. Your butt will never be sore if you have your own cushion.
177170 Podrick keeps accidentally calling Brinne Ser. Awwww smarten up Podrick. At least he is not calling her wench I guess.

BRIENNE was betrothed at the age of 7. That is nuts!!

Whaaaaaat?!?!

I'm not sure either. I had to read this chapter twice. I think that it means Arys is..."

I kind of wondered that too but was unsure.

And I agree completely with how you feel about these chapters.
177170 I am reading your comments now. I am partway through A Feast for Crows. I definitely want to read the series over and over and over and over,

I don't even remember any of what Ria has written about. I guess there will be no problem remembering too much of the books for a reread. Lol
