177170 Nobody else want to play?
Aug 02, 2016 04:29AM

177170 I watched the first 2 episodes of Downtown Abbey. I liked it enough to try one more episode soon.

I watched one episode of Madmen. I have no opinion yet but will try one more episode.

Sometimes it takes more episides to get into a show than I would like.

Stranger Things is on our Canadian netflix but I did not try it yet.

I will. Once I get some outside stuff done I will likely watch some more. Huge heat wave here and I want to stay inside this afternoon.

177170 I have never seen Downtown Abbey so I thought I would check it out on Netflix.

The actress who plays Ygritte on GOT was on the first episode!

Does anyone watch this show? I think it will be OK. I just saw the first episode but I think it will be good.

177170 Reading A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness now.

It is short but decent. There is a movie coming out so I wanted to read this first. It is middle grade .
177170 So I was curious and looke Podrick up. He is a Payne, a distant cousin to Ilyn Payne.

Maybe I am the only one who did not know this.
177170 Yeah Ria, I started to think that it was not a mistake (Podrick) calling her that after a while. It continued on way longer than a small slip of the tongue does.
177170 Ria wrote: "Vishakha's right - nothing happened in this chapter. And tbh, it was way too long for being so boring, imo. And, well, she's not the brightest person in the 'verse. I mean, think about it, Brienne,..."

Ria I had heard this one was not so great so I made a concious effort to complete it in the first month so I would be refreshed and ready for Sept's A Dance with Dragons. I did my best to read 2 chapters a day plus more on the weekend if possible. It helped a lot and the last quarter of this one became quite good.

Lena I am so mad I never read Me Before You before going to the movie. The only reason I went to the movie was because of Danerys! I loved the movie so much.

The seasons were already too short for my liking. Does this mean the series will be done after a short session 8?

OMG when the series is done that will suck so badly. Oh now I feel
Depressed just thinking of that.

Summer is coming.

HBO is officially confirming some major changes for Game of Thrones.

Season 7 of the fantasy sensation will not return until summer 2017 – pushing back from the show’s usual strategy of premiering each edition of the series in the spring (typically April).

Also, the network is confirming for the first time that next edition will consist of seven episodes (a pull back from the show’s usual 10 hours).

Plus, HBO added that the next season will be shot in Northern Ireland, Spain, and Iceland. It’s been a couple years since the Thrones team used Iceland for significant shooting, having primarily used the location for North of the Wall scenes when Jon Snow was embedded with the Wildlings camp.

177170 Hi. I watched your video finally. 3 very valid points Teymour.

And it is very uderstandable to stay home because of possible GOT spoilers. Lol
I would do the same if somehow I did not yet see the latest episode. But I highly doubt I could allow that to happen.

I really hope the direwolf leading that pack was indeed Nymeria.
