These are the nominations for the March Poll

Since there were only two nominations I will be adding a few at random to fill out the poll.

The theme chosen for February in The Auxiliary Challenge was FOREIGN (TO YOU) CULTURE.
The winning book is: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
The Auxiliary Challenge (2018): Rules & How To

The Kite Runner
“It may be unfair, but what happens in a few days, sometimes even a single day, can change the course of a whole lifetime."
Amir is the son of a wealthy Kabul merchant, a member of the ruling caste of Pashtuns. Hassan, his servant and constant companion, is a Hazara, a despised and impoverished caste. Their uncommon bond is torn by Amir's choice to abandon his friend amidst the increasing ethnic, religious, and political tensions of the dying years of the Afghan monarchy, wrenching them far apart. But so strong is the bond between the two boys that Amir journeys back to a distant world, to try to right past wrongs against the only true friend he ever had.
The unforgettable, heartbreaking story of the unlikely friendship between a wealthy boy and the son of his father’s servant, The Kite Runner is a beautifully crafted novel set in a country that is in the process of being destroyed. It is about the power of reading, the price of betrayal, and the possibility of redemption; and an exploration of the power of fathers over sons—their love, their sacrifices, their lies.
A sweeping story of family, love, and friendship told against the devastating backdrop of the history of Afghanistan over the last thirty years, The Kite Runner is an unusual and powerful novel that has become a beloved, one-of-a-kind classic.

CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE.
No doubt about it, Sebastian ‘Oz’ Osborne is the university’s most celebrated student athlete—and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliché, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn’t give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks.
SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE.
Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university’s most diligent student—but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags—and Oz Osborne is all three.
She’s smart, sarcastic—and not what he expected.
…EVERY DOUCHBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS.
He wants to be friends.
He wants to spend time with her.
He wants to drive her crazy.
He wants…
Her.

Maverick Austin Davis is forced to return home after a ten-year career as a rodeo star. After one too many head injuries, he’s off the circuit and in the horse farming business, something he’s never taken much of a shine to, but now that it’s his late father’s legacy, familial duty calls. How will Maverick find his way after the only dream he ever had for himself is over?
Enter Leighton Elizabeth James, an ugly duckling turned beauty from Maverick’s childhood—his younger sister’s best friend, to be exact, and someone whose heart he stomped all over when she confessed her crush to him ten years back. Now Leighton is back in Maverick’s life, no longer the insecure, love-stricken teen—and Maverick can’t help but take notice. Sparks fly between them, but will Leighton be able to open her heart to the one man who broke it all those years ago?

Our theme/prompt for March 2018 will be:
VILLAIN PROTAGONIST
Muahahahaha! Pick your fav Villain then go ahead and drop your nomination below!
💀 ATTENTION: The Main Character need to be Villainous, NOT an Anti-Hero!
The difference between an anti-hero and a villain protagonist is that the anti-hero often has the role of a hero but with darker sides.
We need books with characters that have the role of what would normally be considered an antagonist, someone you normally wouldn't cheer for. Maybe they have sympathetic sides, maybe they don't but the important thing is that it's the main character of the story. 💀
Each person can nominate only ONE book!
What this is, Rules & How it works can be found HERE.
Nominations: 01.02 to 14.02
Voting: 15.02 to 28.02

I will admit it kind of gets on your nerves a bit hut it improves. It had it flaws like everything but I was left satisfied. Too bad you didn't like it :(

Gawd it was AWFUL and pointless. It was a major waste of my time. Ugh"
Really? Okay, so this author is now for sure on my do n..."
Yeah really. I didn't expect it either. I had read two of her books before reading this and it was half&half but after reading this one it tipped the scales to nah.
It is pretty hit & miss with her I guess :/

Gawd it was AWFUL and pointless. It was a major waste of my time. Ugh

Her writing is decent at least.
