174195 I swear I used to be able to link books using the browser on my phone (I know the app didn't have link ability) but I can't anymore.

I have one book to add (The Storyteller) which I'll put in a prompt I'm sure of, but if we get desperate enough to try an ear as a shell, we can move it.

174195 A bit of a stretch but one of my books mentions the seaSHELL of a character's ear and there are ears on the cover... So a stretch for shell? Trying to get creative since we don't yet have possibilities for shell. 😂

I did also just finish The Dog Stars which won't work for any fully open category but I'll fill it in as a second.

174195 I'm struggling to decide what to read this week and don't have any particular options in mind for the categories we especially need, but I did start a new audio and a new print today so should hopefully finish at least one today since I'm off work.

174195 My reading plans were derailed today but do plan to read this evening finally and hopefully will finish up something. I do have the day off tomorrow with no plans too.

174195 Migraines are the worst! Glad you're feeling better today!

I finished up Wahala and put it in the spreadsheet before completely passing out super early. I am up early again today as a result... not sure what I'm prioritizing today and I have a few non reading things planned, but I should be able to make some good progress today once I get some coffee in me! :)

174195 I put The Shadowed Sun in for next in a series - everything it fit had about equal numbers in the count column. But can be moved as needed.

I think I'm picking up Wahala next which likely will be done today too as I'm halfway in, but I've been reading since 5am so we'll see. Lol

174195 That makes sense to me! I removed the xs for categories not used but marked them yellow.

In a past readathon we'd also moved completed books to the far right and added new columns before them to put new in progress/tbr books to keep the current contenders easier to find so that could be an option too if it gets too full.

174195 My current reads all have over 100 pages left but I'll prioritize reading those with the most pages left tonight.

174195 Hello team Flour!! I have big plans to get a lot of reading in this weekend because my TBR is a little ridiculous right now and I do have a three day weekend. I do have a 24 hour readathons this weekend and one next weekend too, so hopefully that will help in addition to the motivation I always get from the ATY team readathons. I'll go through the list and put in my likely / planned reads too.

I may have missed it because my brain is all over the place today with distractions - but if a book is in progress is there a rule of how many pages have to be left as of the start of the readathon?

174195 1. What is your estimated reading speed (slow, medium, fast) during a Read-a-thon?

Fast

2. What is your availability this week, and how many books do you anticipate reading during the Read-a-Thon?

I'm pretty available with time to read during this timeframe so about 7-8 books

3. Which time zone do you live in?

Pacific

4. Can you commit to checking in with your team frequently during the read-a-thon?

Definitely

5. Are you interested in being a team leader for your group? (i.e. keeping track of team totals, needed tasks, updating spreadsheet, etc.)

No thanks

174195 I finished off All the Tides of Fate and put it in as and adventure story - there's pirates and setting off to sea so it was adventurous.

That is more than likely my final read - I need to make some progress on a couple things for buddy reads this week but won't be finishing anything else tonight.

Thank you all for the fun pirate-ey times! This has been great extra motivation this week and I wound up picking up more than I anticipated! This was a great way to (nearly) finish off May!

174195 I have started All the Tides of Fate on audio and I am about to start Havenfall in print. These will likely be my last two finished books for the weekend. Havenfall has gold foiling on the cover for the gold prompt and I'm thinking that Tides will have a fantastical creature or two along the way though not so far in the first 10%.

174195 I settled in with some embroidery (not super successfully) and finished up Master of One for 500+ pages.

I will start on All the Tides of Fate tomorrow as my next audio (I suspect it would work for fantastical creature because book one in the series did have some) and then see what I can pick up in print to fill any open prompts.

174195 My weekend kicks off in 2 hours, then I have nothing planned but an afternoon of reading apart from maybe a library run.

I will be finishing up The Book of Two Ways this morning - I have about 2 hours left on the audio.

I have made a bit of a start into Master of One but I am confident I will finish it up this weekend. It is only 15 hours on audio - so should be able to read it in about half of that. I have both the audio and print which helps.

I'd also like to read/finish All the Tides of Fate this weekend but I only have it on audio, so it will depend what projects I get up to and whether they pair well with audio.

I loved Dial A for Aunties - it was a very different read from my usual and so much fun!

I just finished Our Woman in Moscow. It doesn't fit any of the open slots for the inprogress ships, so I put it in for a book with a thief. It is about spies and defectors who do steal government secrets so I think that fits.

I am likely to finish up The Book of Two Ways tonight or tomorrow and I'll be starting Master of One (the 500+ pager) soon thereafter.

174195 I finished Elysium Girls which I put in for fantastical creatures. it had life and death as characters, mechanical horses powered by magic, and a daemon.

Barring anything going really screwy with the rest of the week I think I'll be able to get to Master of One which will be another 500 page book if we wind up wanting another galleon. it's long but it's YA with big print so suspect it will move quick.

I'm still working on Our Woman in Moscow in print and started The Book of Two Ways on audio.

174195 I did America's First Daughter on audio and really enjoyed it!

We could just see where we can fit things in and then narrow our focus once we see were getting close on particular ships? I'm up for whatever though. I have a couple books I need to get to this week but then have some flexibility probably by the weekend to pick something up if we need to plug a hole in one of our ships.
