174195 I tend to do better searching for Listopias by just using Google instead of searching within Goodreads. I just generally search something like "goodreads pirate books" and Google will generally find the shelves or lists that exist.

174195 This is the only one I'm on with Goodreads that I tend to participate in but I'm more active on Bookstagram and I join a lot of readathons for people I follow on YouTube. Having reading prompts for challenges and readathons works well for me to narrow down what to read next and they're good at motivating me! I'm already committed to one month long readathon in June and I'm eyeing a couple shorter ones. I am a bit of an addict I think. lol

I finished The Lake and put it in for thriller to finish off the latest roller coaster. I'm nearly positive this will be my last finished book for the readathon because I'm starting a buddy read book I need to get to halfway in and I'm going to my dad's for his birthday later on. I'll definitely add more pages at least. I have a short swimsuit book I could maybe fit in but it's just a maybe.

174195 I finished Queen of the Tiles and put it in for involving a game to finish the Arcade. It would also be good for a book about friendship which we seem to also need if that works better.

I think I'm going to pick up The Lake which should be quick and good for thriller or maybe friendships?

174195 I should finish The Black Tides of Heaven relatively early today and that probably is best suited to the Hugo / Nebula award prompt based on what is currently open.

I do have Queen of the Tiles that just came in from the library on audio which would work for the game prompt.

I'm loosely participating in a 24 hour readathon starting in a couple hours - not reading anywhere close to the full 24 hours (I need sleep lol), but hopefully it will get me through one or two extra books

174195 I finished up Like a Sister which I added to red cover since we had a roller coaster started but it also would work for thriller or related to music if we start a new Merry Go Round.

I also finished off An Arrow to the Moon which had a significant bunny so finished off our second Merry Go Round.

I'm starting a novella next, The Black Tides of Heaven which I'm sure I'll have finished by earlyish tomorrow.

174195 I didn't get any physical pages in yesterday, I switched to audio for everything and so far that's today's plan too. Hoping to actually sit down and read something physically tonight though.

I will be finishing off Like a Sister today (I'm hosting a buddy read chat for it in the morning, so it for sure needs to get done lol) and I'm working on An Arrow to the Moon which I'll be finishing either today or tomorrow.

I have no idea what I'm picking up this weekend... most of the rest of the books on my 'soon' TBR are ones I'm holding off for another readathon in June, so I'll be playing the weekend by ear!

I enjoyed it - not a new favorite, but it was a good quick read. :)

174195 I wound up switching out to a different 1950s book because I wanted one where I owned the physical copy and I realized one of my recent book box books (This Rebel Heart) was set in 1950. I definitely want to get back to Out of the Easy though when I can focus better (I only had it on audio and was getting too easily distracted) I liked the bit that I did listen to so far though! I'll definitely pick up an ebook or print copy.

I wound up getting more read last night in my big book than I expected, so finished The Ruin of Kings this morning.

174195 I am feeling that exhaustion today too! I did get in some decent audiobook listening today, but no actual pages yet. We'll see how the night goes.

I found a book set in the 1950s on my TBR (Out of the Easy) since that was the one category where it didn't look like we had books in progress, so have started listening to that one when I need a break from my fantasy read.

I am hoping to have my 500+ page book (The Ruin of Kings) done by maybe tomorrow or certainly by Friday if not.

174195 I finished Cherish Farrah which I put in for another bathing suit book since the other prompt it could work for is thriller which we have a lot of potentials for.

Edit - I just realized it would work for YA so I moved it there (it was so dark I kinda forgot it was YA).

174195 I think that logic makes perfect sense to me Traci!

I feel like I haven't made any progress in my reading the last two days because I'm working on two longer books but I should finish one tonight. My 500+ page book is a slow and steady read but my goal is to finish it before the weekend. I have a couple shorter reads to mix in this week as well since I'm incapable of only reading one book at once.

I'm a pretty fast reader and just generally spend a lot of time reading, but I was in a 48 hour readathon with a goal to read 8 books for 8 prompts... so my ways pretty much involved not nearly enough sleep for the weekend and shorter books! Definitely not my usual opening weekend productivity.

I definitely will be catching up on sleep and slowing down on reading a bit because I could seriously curl up under my desk today, but I do have an audiobook on the go at work to help keep me awake! Not positive if I'll actually finish anything today because I'm splitting my time between some longer reads, but progress will be made at least!
