174195 1. How many hours are you aiming to spend reading this weekend?
I am going to aim for 24, but with Mother's Day Sunday I'm going to lose a chunk of the day to that so we'll see.

2. Which books are you planning to read?
I am finishing up My Lovely Wife and then I have three due back to the library by Wednesday that I need to prioritize (The Silent Patient, The Last and Miracle Creek

3. How are you doing with the Around the Year in 52 books challenge? Ahead, behind, right on schedule?
I'm ahead of schedule (I've finished 31 books for the challenge), but have been a bit off track the last few weeks.

4. Tell us about the best book you’ve read so far this year.
Hard to narrow it down, but really enjoyed No Exit especially since it had been quite a while since I read a straight thriller.

174195 Thanks for the tip to subscribe to the announcement thread - that will help! (Not being well acquainted with all of the goodreads features, I've only recently figured out how to change my alert settings on a per discussion thread basis.)

I think sending a 'heads up' message to look for read-a-thon related posts would help alert more interested folks too.

174195 1. How many books did you finish? How many pages did you read? 13 books (two started before the challenge) and 4505 pages

2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions?
My goals were to read a lot and have fun, so yes! I got a bit busy during the week, so didn't keep up with all of the daily posts, but overall was happy to participate.

3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts?
I did - I really enjoyed participating with a team for the first time and tracking my reading more closely this week.

4. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon?
Britt-Marie Was Here

5. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons?
I think everything was great, so I don't have any suggestions to add. Thanks!

6. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons?
Absolutely, yes!

174195 I just finished The Deeper the Water the Uglier the Fish by Katya Apekina which will probably be my last finished book for the read-a-thon. I'm working on Roses and Rot, but not very far in yet.

This has been an excellent team for my first read-a-thon! Thanks, all!
174195 I finished Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith whick probably best goes with an F country or anywhere with blue in the flag.

Plus it is primarily in the US, but does have a character coming from England to the US, so quite appropriate for the Europe/Americas team.
