174195 If nothing else, "dew" is something that occurs outdoors in nature and us something one would encounter when camping, etc, right? Seems outdoors-ey to me! Edit: though i now see that one should be covered!

I haven't made much progress on my next book. I have had a headache slowing me down, but will keep plugging away!

174195 Ill be starting Good Me, Bad Me next. Probably looking at a Thursday finish. Just based on the synopsis, id say Law would work, but may find other options as i read.

174195 Trying to figure out where Where the Line Bleeds fits. I was thinking with bleeds it could be linked to First Aid under life skills? The book involved young men seeking jobs and one going into dealing drugs, so also maybe entrepreneurship (in a not girl scouts approved way)?

Edit to clarify that I did finish it today.

174195 Hi all - just checking in! I should have Where the Line Bleeds finished in the next couple hours or by tonight at latest.

I gather we're still waiting on our next quest so will keep an eye out!

174195 I just finished The Arrangement!

Updated the spreadsheet!
Sep 09, 2019 10:06AM

174195 Good morning, all! I made a lot more progress than expected with The Arrangement last night since sleep was a long time coming, so with it also on audio and quite a bit of time in the car coming up today, I should be finishing it up by tonight. This one works for a title starting with letters in the group name.

I'll likely wait to see what quest three has in store for us before deciding what to pick up next. I've got some buddy reads to work on in the meantime. Happy reading!

Does anyone know the rule about Graphic Novels? Mod Sophie has Nimona as a 5 star fav and I could easily pick up a copy from my library tomo..."

I think graphic novels woyld count, but need to meet the 125+ pages requirement? Unless i missed any added rules.

174195 Yay for a new quest!

My next reat will be The Arrangement which would work for a title starting with a letter from our group name and possibly other categories, though I'm not sure if I will be able to start before tomorrow.

174195 I finished Ten for realistic-fiction!

Not likely to finish anything else today or tomorrow and itvlooks like we just need one more, but hopefully will be making progress on something that will work for the next quest!
Sep 08, 2019 08:32AM

174195 Good morning all! I expect to finish Ten in the next few hours (super fast read). It would work for realistic-fiction which I think is still open.
Sep 07, 2019 11:06PM

174195 I finished Heart of Iron which we have down for retellings for now.
Sep 07, 2019 10:09AM

174195 I finished Passengers and added that to complete for stand alone. Working on Heart of Iron now which will work for a few of the less populated categories. Its likely to be done today.

I have more going on next weekend, so trying to get a lot of extra reading in this weekend!

174195 Good morning, team cake! Really wishing I had some coffee cake on hand to start off the day!

I'm likely to finish The Passengers in the next couple hours since I only have about 150 pages to go. It looks good to put in for Stand-Alone since the two books flagged for that category on the spreadsheet are both books I added and the other categories it works for have more book options.

I should be able to finish Heart of Iron today as well as it looks like a fast read.

174195 1. What areq your goals for the read-a-thon? I don't have specific goals, just to get a lot of reading in and I'm hoping this will help motivate me!

2. Are there any books you're dying to start or finish? I have a lot of buddy reads in progress I won't likely finish this week, aside from that it will be all mood reading.

3. Where will you be doing most of your reading? Ido a lot of audio book reading in the car, aside from that mostly at home.

4. Are you participating in the team challenge? Yes - team cake!

5. Is anything that's going to stand in the way of your reading this week? Let us cheer you on! Next weekend I have a friend in town, so that will slow me down a bit. Other than that, just summer heat sapping my energy!

6. What are you most looking forward to with this read-a-thon? Extra motivation and the team challenge!
