Finally read this part. And the good news its all new now. I passed my reread section.

Wow what a dark read. I was shocked when she stabbed the guy in the eye.

Like how some are helping her but so sad that the ink person got killed by dorothy.

Will try to read more today to catch up,

Read this portion. Love the darkness and world building. Feel bad for the monkey but its neat that he speaks. The lip stick was amusing. Can't wait to read more.

Was a bit tired. Only read 2 chapters last night. Enjoyed what i read so far. Feel so bad for main character with the bullies in school and then her mom not caring about her. Thats scary to be in s storm alone. Will read more this morning to catch up. Will be back with my thoughts.

I did not see the twist at the end. I kept thinking she was pregnant from all the vomiting at the end. That mom is crazy!

4 stars. Dropping it a star as i felt at times the drawings were not necessary and it lost its realism when they flew to Hawaii thought that was far fetched.

Great read all in all.

That last part was intense. She wants to die and then she wants to live but pushing hm away. Now she's trapped again and doesn't even want to talk to Olly.

Not very realistic. She's like trapped in her house for 17 years and then she just buys a ticket to Hawaii and flies there? Like what type pills did she buy so she can breath the air? Then she jumps from a cliff? How did this book get 5 stars?

I read ahead. I felt mad when the mom fired her nurse.

Feel sad for Olly to live with an abusive dad. I can see why she would want to go outside to save him from the abuse.

Sad that she had to risk her life just to be able to be with the boy she loves.

I am finding the drawings that she does a distraction from the story. I don't think they are necessary. What does everyone else feel about them?

Feel so sad for these teens. Being trapped in the house must be awful. So lonely. Books aren't real people.

What the heck? Why was Olly climbing the wall when he came to visit her? Very strange.

Also feel bad for Olly seems his parents don't get along and his dad is violent. Poor guy.

I finished this book this morning. I dropped it down to a 3 star. 3 1/2 is my final rating. I liked the photos. I just thought it wasn't creepy enough.

Really enjoying this book so far. And I love how the chapters are so short. If I read on I will write in each day my thoughts.

Imagine not being able to go outside? And she can't even be near the door?

That thing about the crazy cake doing suicide but at least the boy made her laugh.

So far 2 spoilers of other books mentioned. Flowers for Algernon and Lord of the Flies. (nope I didn't read those books yet. :(
