Ok I'm a bit behind. I had company over yesterday which ate into my reading time. I did go see the Martian though. I liked it better than the book.

I'm on page 60. It's just starting to pick up. Trying to get into this book but it's not keeping my attention. Will try to read more later today. We have half day at school so hope to catch up on Sunday's portion and start Monday's today.

This book is a 4.8 reading level. Come on why is it so hard reading for me. I swear I think I read in a 3rd grade level. Or fantasy just stumps me. Or is this horror because of the zombies.

Speaking of zombies why do authors have to make up words like freaks for zombies. It was the same thing for the scorch trials they called. Them something else like cranks or something. Why not just say zombies!

Sorry for my rant!

Ok it was a bit of s struggle to get to page 41. I was too tired to read last night so I immediately read when I got up to catch up.

As I said it is a bit slow.

Not sure I like the main character but I think she has a thing for Fade.

Felt sorry for the boy that they took away and will probably kill him.

I am on page 24 and my first thoughts is the names are driving me crazy. Yup names like Twist, Thimble, Copper, Deuce. I hate when authors use strange names where you are reading and saying what the heck! This always drops my rating to a 4!

The part about getting meat into a bag was pretty gross. Will read more and update my thoughts.

Reminds me of Divergent with the different sections.
