TO BE CONTINUED!!!!

"That's an almost - I would've been able to if we had, like, ten more minutes! I'd have beaten you to a pulp!"
But before she had a chance to answer, Paige and Aura's loud voices cut through the air.
"What do you mean, fight? Like, fight, fight? Fight for real?, I would think you knew she wasn't ready!" When I glanced over, Paige was on her feet, with Alex and Doyle on either side of her looking a bit alarmed.
"I think she's ready." Aura said calmly, sitting and eating her salad across from Paige.
"Ready? Ready? How can she be ready to go into combat! She's blind! Blind! How is she supposed to be able-" Paige was abruptly cut off when Indigo walked back in through the doorway, (she had taken a bathroom break), and said, "I know that. But I trained. I think I can take it."
Aura grinned triumphantly. "See? Even she feels she is ready!"
I scooted farther down the table, away from the two. Paige looked like she was going to explode. Her face was bright red as she opened her mouth to speak, then closed it again and sat down. She looked quite similar to a huge, red, duck.
"Paige," Indigo said softly, as she slipped down to sit next to Paige, pushing Doyle aside gently. In my opinion, she was doing quite well, she was learning to use her other senses to get around, and already it seemed she could get around the building as if she had her sight. I remembered how she fought me, and her admirable skill.
"Paige, it's okay, yeah, I don't have my eyes any more, but to tell you the truth, I have other ways. My nose, ears, and hands. Tools, Paige, tools! I can smell everything, my ears are sharper than ever, and I can feel my way around! I am beginning to forget the wonders of light, color, and shadows, but I don't mind! In fact, I think being blind is suiting me better now. Really, Paige."
Indigo had her hand on Paige's shoulder, staring straight at her. Paige started to cry, small tears leaving wet trails in their wake across her face. I uncomfortably noticed the table had gone completely silent, everyone sitting quietly, awed at Indigo's moving speech.
"Oh, Indigo." Paige gasped, and threw her arms around Indigo's neck, sobbing into her shoulder.
Indigo patted her back, smiling faintly.

Carla smirked across from me, but then said, "Aw, but she wasn't that bad! Only about a hundred points behind me!"
I scowled. "A hundred? Yeah, I don't call that too bad, for someone who had never trained or fought in her entire life!"
Carla looked up, flabbergasted. "Y-you have never trained? But those monsters- at the castle!"
I shrugged. "Luck! I happen to be a pretty lucky gal." Then I dived into some croissant.
"Well, Em," Indigo said, "You were pretty good when you were fighting me! You beat me!"
"Aw, only 'cause I was a panther! Panthers can do that kind of stuff, it was instincts, not skill." I said, blushing. "And," I added quickly, "Carla beat me up in that fight!"
I grinned as I brandished an arm in a sling across the table at Carla.

I backed away as Aura walked up, and she pressed a pointy nail to Indigo's arm.
Immediately, Indigo seemed revived, and she stood up, brushing herself off.
"Er, sorry about that, Indigo.... I don't know what happened..." My head bowed, I transformed back into a human, the fur slowly creeping up my body, being replaced with clothes, until it reached my head, then it lengthened and became my hair, which slowly turned back to blonde, and when I glanced up again, my eyes were green.
"Enough training for today - it's been two and a half hours!" said Aura, with a hint of pride in her voice.
