Ruby’s comments from the Write, Wrote, Written group.

Just a three line poem I made on the spot, not nessicarily good, I've said how my skills in poetry are, but anyway, here it is:


Oh, a pen.
The mightiest weapon.
But also the deadliest doom.

I groan, and sit up. I blink my eyes, but this time I don't see the forest like I had expected, but walls and doors like a house. I was back. I tried to stand again, but once more I fell, wincing in pain. Stupid ankle. Now I'll just have to lie here and wait until someone comes to save me. Probably? Nope.

Suddenly, I hear voices.

MORE!!!!

Ummm how about the one you think needs the most work ;)

Slowly, I blink open my eyes. Ooh. The light. The bright light...

I groan and turn over, burying my face in the soft earth - wait, soft earth? What? I sit up, and squint at my surroundings. I wasn't home. I wasn't even in the lab. Where - Oh no. The house. The rain, the fire....

"They forgot me." I realized mournfully. "In all the confusion, they forgot me."

I groaned again and shook my head. The house began a tiny bit clearer. I could see I was in a forest, and the path was only a little ways off. I struggled to stand, to look around more, but I collapsed with a yelp and a searing pain in my left ankle. Through my shimmering eyes (because of tears), I could make out my ankle severely twisted. Shoot.

I let my head fall back to the ground with a thump. The trees - they were spinning... With that, I blacked out.

I look behind me, and not to my surprise, I see a girl chasing me. I wink, and run faster.

I look from Tyri to the house's insides, and back. I shrug mischievously and turn. I bound down the right path.

It was a bit close, but finally Gurlbookworm pulled out in the lead, and WON THE RACE!!!!


XDXDXDDXXDXDXD JK it wasn't a race, but it was pretty close!

Suddenly, I glance behind my shoulder and glimpse the newest girl - Kamink? Gosh, i keep forgetting her name - slipping into the nine year old's nightmare house. Crap. I take a deep breath and scale down the monsters leg, and jumped to the ground. I take a few more deep breaths to calm my nerves and plunge into the house after her, on all four legs.

Alright! I will announce the lucky writer!

"Grr you big buffoon! You slimy Sloth! You Carnivorous Cockroach! You-" I shouted insults as I pounded on the giants hairy knee. Finally, after seeing it had no effect whatsoever, I backed up, and jumped. Much to the satisfying screams of the giant, I clawed my way up its leg and finally crouched on its shoulder.

"Grr."

HEY

Am I hearing discomfort, someone feeling left out, someone feeling bad and sad, and unhappiness in my group?

NOT WHAT I PLANNED FOR IN MY WRITING GROUP.

This group is for writers to get together, share their writing, chat a little, and so on. I don't want any of the above 'bad things' in this group. Now, I hope it gets sorted out, and no one has to leave this conversation unhappy, left out, or any of the above 'bad things'. If it is already sorted out and everyone is OK again, I will not interfere. But if there is something going on in this group that makes another member feel unhappy (I am not saying that member's unhappiness was ON PURPOSE, I'm not saying that), I'm sure it would be better for the whole community to talk it out, (And I see you all DID do that, thank you), and if someone still isn't feeling too great here, feel free to, and please do come to me. Please understand I'm not pointing fingers, I'm not saying people are being mean and should be kicked out, and I'm not saying any ONE PERSON did what I said above. I just want to have a nice, happy, working together writing comuntity. Thank you.
