137842 Oh, really? I liked Relic but didn't think it was near the best.

My favorites are:
The Cabinet of Curiosities
Still Life With Crows
The Book of the Dead
Fever Dream
White Fire

But in all honestly, I've liked every single one.

137842 Definitely read them in order. You're going to spoil quite a few things for other books if you read them out of order.

137842 Book of the Dead is one of my favorites!!!!

I would, yes. I'd say there were some you could get away with reading out of order, but there are so many that have cliffhangers and such that it's just not worth reading out of order.

For example, Brimstone, Book of the Dead, and Dance of Death are a trilogy, as are Fever Dream, Cold Vengeance, and Two Graves... which means they need to be read in order. Reliquary is a direct followup to Relic, which is another...

Just read them in order... you'll appreciate the character growth and storylines better without all the spoilers :)

137842 This makes me want to reread it all again. Just like with Sigma Force/James Rollins... and Cotton Malone/Steve Berry.

*sigh*

137842 One of my absolute favorite and longest followed series. I love love love Preston & Child!

You deserve all sorts of good things... I struggle so bad when my Netgalleys turn out awful. Actually, as soon as I request a book, I struggle, because once the obligation is there, I no longer want to read it. LOL

137842 My review of Nero's Fiddle is up! :D
137842 YAY! So glad people are jumping in and loving it! :D

137842 Yay Pendergast!!! If you make a thread, make sure to include their book Thunderhead in between Reliquary and Cabinet of Curiosities!!!

137842 I'm reading Nero's Fiddle (Artifact Hunters #3) by A.W. Exley , NOS4A2 by Joe Hill , and Fish & Chips (Cut & Run, #3) by Abigail Roux ...

along with rereading Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead and Grave Peril (The Dresden Files #3) by Jim Butcher with my best friend (the VA book) and my lobster (the Dresden book).
137842 I guess if people like it, we'll all be reading that one next?

I haven't decided if I'm going to read Sandstorm with everyone or just skip it. I've got a lot to read as it is, and I've read Sandstorm probably 8 or 9 times already LOL
137842 Try not to start at book three... at least start on Map of Bones if you can.
137842 You've got 9 days or so before everyone starts (at least the "official" date), too! :D

It's supposed to be for fun, so don't feel pressured!!!
137842 There you go, Muffin! :D :D :D

Way to go Sonia!
137842 Ummm, you could get by without reading Sandstorm, but you really don't want to skip TWO. I guess you could if you had to, but you'd miss out on some important character history and introductions and stuff. Plus Map of Bones is so good you don't want to miss it!!!
137842 Rollins books are fast-paced and action-packed... I doubt it would take you too long. ;)

But no pressure! :p

137842 She's such an awesome person. It makes me love her stories even more, because she cares about the readers so much!!!

137842 So, Anita personally sent me an ARC of Nero's Fiddle... so I'll be enjoying that ASAP now that I've finished the two books I was in the middle of already :D
