*My opinion* is that it's one of the weaker in the series -- probably my least favorite -- but that might just be me! :P

I'm so glad you loved it, Vi. I LOVE LOVE LOVE James Rollins. If you can't wait for the next in the series, you should jump on some of the standalones.

I'm jumping in with Map of Bones when we read it. I've read the series so many times (every time a new book came out, except for the one that came out this year... too many in the series to reread them all every year now!) that Sandstorm has been read so much! LOL

I've still only read the first one of those, LK. I had access to them for a while, and now I don't know where my copies went! LOL! But I enjoyed the first one!
