I think since I've read the first ones of the series a bajillion times now and Sandstorm is my least favorite of the series, that I'm going to jump in with Map of Bones. :)

Anima, I'm with you on that one! Cabinet and Still Life were both so good that Brimstone felt a little blah. The next two I love though, especially Book of the Dead!

I could probably start in October or November -- but I've read them all, so I can read along when I can and you guys can all decide when's best for all the first time readers!

There's no reason NOT to read Sandstorm first, but you don't HAVE to.

I think Logan and I talking about how we both got into the series by picking up Map of Bones led that discussion.

I didn't know it was a series at the time.

Sandstorm *is* the weakest of the series, though, in my opinion.

I'm a big fan of reading books in series order! :P
