137842 On supernatural season 7: I mean, the lead Leviathan guy was kinda hot, but overall that storyline was poop. They did introduce Charlie that season, who I adore... but they also (view spoiler)

137842 Well you've spoiled some Buffy moments by watching Angel first! I can never seem to get past two seasons of Angel, sadly.

You must watch Buffy. NOW is a great time for a Buffy marathon. Seriously, one of the best shows ever. Just push through some of the filler episodes in the first two seasons as the show finds its footing. :)

137842 I knew I liked you, Amanda! Doctor Who and Supernatural rock... So do Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Grey's Anatomy and... Ok, I could be here listing for hours! :)

137842 Hahaha, that's the best time. My Lobster (nickname for my partner) starts evening classes again next week... I'm sad we'll have less time together, but it means at least two nights a week I can watch whatever I want :)

137842 Netflix is dangerous for me, because I binge-watch :P

The Killing is on my to-watch list! :)

137842 I'm not sure if the trilogy has a good/proper ending, but book one's ending certainly throws you for a loop! :P

137842 LOL Anima, be prepared... I finished book one recently and haven't started book two yet, and "the mystery" is still around... and is even more mysterious! LOL

137842 I'm currently reading: Silver Borne (Mercy Thompson, #5) by Patricia Briggs and The 6th Extinction (Sigma Force, #10) by James Rollins , as well as rereading Grave Peril (The Dresden Files #3) by Jim Butcher

My Lobster finally got to book three of Dresden, which is a reread for me as I read along with him.

I'm working on the Mercy Thompson book and the Sigma Force book as well. James Rollins is one of my absolute favorite authors and this is his newest book which just came out last week (The 6th Extinction), and it will finish off a section on a challenge I'm working on in WRC. The Mercy Thompson series is fitting into that challenge as well, and I'm loving it as I catch up on the series!

If I can convince my friend to keep reading after the traumatic events of the third book, I'll be picking up Blood Promise (Vampire Academy, #4) by Richelle Mead for a reread with her (her first time)... but she's being stubborn (read:stupid!) about her reasoning behind not finishing the last three books in the series and getting to the HEA.

And I'll probably have to start reading The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner soon as my co-worker is telling me she's almost ready to start our buddy read of book two.

*sigh* Too many buddy reads going on for my taste haha.

Yay! I liked the characters on the first one, but the plot was average and the pacing was slow... but I loved the characters enough to try book two. Now I'm more excited to get to it :)
