I just don't remember one starting in August. I know Sanctum of Fantasy has talked about a series read in September, and I know NBRC had it as a BOM this month... I don't remember any other Buddy Reads LOL

Thanks for the rec Steven. A person can never have en..."RIGHT!
I have so many favorites!
I just read book one (the one I posted, Rivers of London or Midnight Riot here in the US), and loved it.
Sheila wrote: "Love Ruth Galloway Steven! One for the few series I am caught up on."I'm enjoying the series so far. :D
Have you read
? it's like Ruth Galloway with some magic/urban fantasy mixed in. I'd wager you'd like it if you love Ruth Galloway.

Karen,
I loved Percy Jackson, and only liked the Kane Chronicles. Just wasn't as good as Percy or the Heroes followup.
But Dead Heat was AMAZING.

Hahaha

*giggles at double the length*"I was hoping someone would catch my length joke ;)
Sonia wrote: "Besides... I had less than 9 books to read from Dresden when you started Cut&Run."Yeah, and for some reason, you've been entirely unable to finish them. Which means *I* win. Not Dresden, not Ty/Zane, not you. ME.
And yeah, Ty & Zane are sexy as hell, but Dresden Files is MUCH better quality literature, better written, better characterized, better overall story arc, etc.
;)

How did they win anything? I've also read all the Dresden books that are out...
Your logic is ridiculous. Clearly Dresden wins. It didn't end after 9 books. It's almost double the length! :)

Neglected to mention that technically Thunderhead is a standalone and not part of the series which is why it'd not listed as such. But I really wish the librarians would add it in there because it really makes the most sense to read it before CoC.

Muffin, I have a paperback version and that's it :(
Erin, Thunderhead doesn't have Pendergast in it but it has a main character who joins the Pendergast series in Cabinet of Curiosities and is in quite a few books in the series (the events of Thunderhead take place between Reliquary and Cabinet). You don't *have* to read it beforehand, but it will explain a key relationship and give you the backstory of that major character. So if you can get your hands on a copy, please do. It's also a very good book, too! :)

Ah! The Pendergast series (starting with Relic) is one of my absolute favorites! Make sure you read Thunderhead between Reliquary and Cabinet of Curiosities! Trust me, it's important!!!

I am working on
,
, and
...
next up, another Rachel Morgan
, the final in a trilogy
, and a new one in a great UF series
Erin (*is in a reviewing slump*) wrote: "I bought several of these from a friend but haven't read them yet. I remember seeing a movie, Relic, years ago that I liked; assuming it's the same one."It was based off of the first book, yes, but it is drastically different. The movie CUT OUT Pendergast!!!

Nice work, Audrey Jane! :D Glad you had fun!!!

24 days remaining everyone! :D

Way to go, ladies! :D

Welcome Ora, to the group and to the tarheel state! :) (I'm a fellow North Carolinian)
