Tanner is obviously feeling betrayed. But we're not exactly sure what for yet...

Tanners reaction to Adrian's story: "There's no way! She wouldn't do this to me. There's no way!"

Ch 31 PP: Adrian arrives saying he knows where Rory went.

Why does he look straight at Veronica when he says it???

Ch 31 PP: Mr. Jackson insists on putting the ransom money in the safe at the Neptune Grand. Tanner reluctantly agrees."

Speaking of money...Chad was driving an expensive SUV when he was caught right? Kind of speaks to him having quite a credit limit on that credit card he took Hayley on shopping sprees with. Of course his parents probably bought that as well....

It sounds to me that Chad could have been raised in Neptune. Thinking that his money will make him invincible.

Ch 31 PP: Tanner continues to insist on making the ransom demand money drop.

And we are all wondering...WHY? You didn't seem so worried when you were cruising in the hot tub (no Tanner we did not forget that). Why be so cautious now?

Ch 31 PP: Tanner suggests that someone really did kidnap Aurora, and were trying to con an extra paycheck out of the Dewalts.

Now this was some quick thinking on Tanner's part. But it also makes him look like he's sweating....which he is.

Ch 31 PP: Veronica returns to the Scott house. Hunter is playing with maracas. Anyone else have the sense that he's going to be in a band when he grows up?

Ch 31 PP: Chad Cohen is arrested.

And he did NOT go quietly! High speed car chase? Sitting in the car with a gun to his temple? What a nail biter!

Ch 30 PP: Veronica resolves to find Aurora.

This part reminded me of the S3 episode where Veronica is upset that Parker was raped and she could have prevented it. She turns her anger into "steely resolve" and then announces "DONE". And we know, even though she has a lot of work to do, that our girl will get it done.

Ch 30 PP: The motel clerk identified Chad Cohan as the guy who rented the room.

Try and explain that one in court Chad....
"She was alive when I left her there!"

Ch 30: Who else felt a little relieved at this line:
"It's okay Mac. We couldn't have saved hr. She's been dead all along."

Our Veronica was in denial. I think that's our final conclusion....it makes sense. Glad she realized it.
