Neptune Rising’s comments from the Veronica Mars Book Club group.

Here are some pros that I see to the Good Reads platform:
*Makes it very easy for people who can not participate to catch up later.
*Allows for posting to continue even after the session is over. Sometimes a thought hits you after the fact!
*Does not clog up the twitter feed of people who are not participating.
*Does not spoil the book for those who have not had a chance to read it yet.
*It allows marshmallows to interact with each other in a new way. We all know that we have great taste in television shows, it would be neat to see what each others taste in books are as well.

Cons to Good Reads:
*People on the app versus the website can not quote when replying to other participants.
*Quotes are cut off, and not posted in their complete version.
*I wish there was a "like" or "favorite" button, so often we agree with each other with out having a though to add as well.

The admins will looks all your feedback over, discuss, and let you know which platform we will continue to use for the remaining chapters of The Thousand Dollar Tan Line and any other upcoming Veronica Mars books.

Plot Point: Veronica realizes that the diner is halfway between Neptune and Stanford.

A small part of me was hoping she was bunkered down in the motel. And someone was bringing her food. But a bigger part of me knew...

Plot Point: Veronica questions the waitresses at the diner Murphy ate at after Hayley ran off. One waitress remembers Murphy. Neither recognize Hayley.

At this point I'm not wondering if it was fake, I'm wondering who made the fake demands...

Plot Point: Veronica is driving to Bakersfield when Mac calls to tell her that Hayley's "proof of life" story used in the ransom demand was posted by Hayley on her Facebook page 5 years ago.

I adore that exchange between Cliff and Veronica in the pilot. They were able to explain so much about Keith, Veronica, and Mars Investigations in just those few seconds. Rob Thomas is a genius.

Discussion Question: What do you think of Murphy's story? Too weird to be made up? Too weird to be the truth?

Plot Point: William Murphy's story is that he agreed to take Hayley to Bakersfield and she ran from his car at a truck stop. He sold the necklace to try to recoup his gas costs from the drive.

Plot Point: Cliff leaves Veronica to clean his office, giving Veronica access to Murphy's file.

Was anyone else surprised that Veronica actually cleaned the office??? How clever of Cliff to get something out of the deal!

Good point! Maybe for Veronica accepting Lianne back into her life starts with Lianne proving she wants to be back in it? All she can see when she sees Lianne is "you left". Because that is the last thing that Lianne did to her?
