Oh this would make for a very interesting discussion. Sounds like Lianne and Tanners marriage could have been a ticking time bomb?

Ch 34 Discussion Question: How do you feel about Veronica's theory? Is Lianne right? Did Veronica jump to this conclusion about Tanner to hurt Lianne? Or is this just where the evidence truly leads?

You're just hoping to find out I've made as big a mess of this marriage as I made of the last on, so you can be right about me. You want to be able to punish me.

Ch 34 PP: Veronica questions Lianne about Lee Jackson.

Ok pretty much all of pages 284-287 are a MUST bookmark Absolutely incredible argument between Veronica and Lianne.

What were your reactions?

WOW. That line blew me away. What a moment of clarity for Veronica.

A moment of brazen truth for Veronica: "Lianne had been Veronica's own personal villan for a long time- not because she was evil. but because her father was good. Because Keith was the hero, the one who stayed."

Ch 34 PP: Veronica goes to the Scotts. Lianne says that Tanner could not find an AA meeting so he went for a night run.

For anyone who watches Orphan Black- when reading this I had a flash of Donnie going out for a night time run. Nothing good can be going on. What could Tanner be hiding???

Ch 34 PP: Veronica has Mac work on digging up info on Tanner.
He definitely warrants another background check.

This pace was amazing. I was working while reading this. I think I ducked into the airplane lavatory a minimum of 15 times during that flight. Just to read a paragraph or two.

Ch 33 PP: Veronica finds a pinto bean near "Lee Jackson's" body.
She doesn't seem quite sure what to make of it yet, but her P.I instincts tell her to pocket it.

Ch 33 PP: Veronica finds "Lee Jackson" with a head injury. She calls 911.

Oh and she refiles through his pockets too.

Ch 33 P: Even though my heart is racing during this chase I can't help but laugh when Veronica yells "SHUT UP AND GET ON!" to the boys hitting on her at exactly the wrong moment in the elevator.

Ch 33 PP: The plot is really moving now! Veronica chases down "Lee Jackson" at the Neptune Grand.

Poor Wallace and Mac. Anyone else have a visual of them still sitting there, cold beers in hand, wondering what just happened? Where did Veronica go? And why are they even surprised that she just disappeared like that?

This is the exact moment when I put down the book, shook my head and say "Rob Rob Rob Rob Rob. I've said it once and i'll say it again- You're a genius". Except this time I also added "Jennifer".

Ch 32 PP: Veronica gets her call returned from Lee Jackson- WHO IS A WOMAN.

Ok who saw that coming? High fives to you!!!

Ch 32 PP: Veronica, Mac, and Wallace meet and discuss the case.

That was my interpretation as well.

Ch 31 PP: Adiran: "Rory likes mystery- she thinks it makes her interesting. And honestly, I didn't ask. She's always trying to get me to act shocked or impressed- she loves creating drama."

OK I think every word of this is the truth! It's just very applicable in this situation!

I personally agree with this. I Adrian took Veronica more seriously than others did.
