I agree with you, Cindy. Whenever I try to plan too much, it just doesn't work! Somehow, once I pick the books I plan to read, all the other books look more attractive. Ha. So I've found that allowing myself some flexibility while generally aiming for a goal works better.
Yep, you're doing fine! You have to pace yourself or you'll drop off the wagon. :)
Leslie, I have that problem too. I'm trying to deal with it by telling myself I have to read a certain number of TBR books each month, and then I can let the others be squirrels if needed. I'm not sure how well it's going to work yet, but I did manage to knock off some TBR books this month. I have to admit I'm purposely steering clear of buddy reads, though.

I got my first piece of Guardian pie! Crime - The Mysterious Affair at Styles. It was my first Agatha Christie experience, so I'm glad I had this challenge to nudge me into it.How's everyone else doing?
