Clear away the cobwebs from the back of your shelves and find the books that have been waiting the longest for you to read. No more delays!
You can choose from physical shelves, or it can be a Goodreads shelf sorted by date added, or a combination. Read the books that have been waiting the longest. Owned or not, what matters is how long you've been meaning to read them.
**Note that there is another challenge specifically geared towards reading owned books (Buyer's Remorse). This challenge can include owned books, but it is more about those you've been intending to read for a long time, owned or not.
**You can list up to 20 books that you will choose from for the challenge. Once listed, those are the books you must choose from.
**Deciding you're no longer interested in a book can count as long as you've read at least 50 pages to make sure, and you remove it from your shelves permanently. That'll be one less book gathering dust.

There are lots of great challenges that get us to stretch our horizons, try new things, or catch up on Classics. I find I get so busy with them that I forget to save time for favorites. I forget that I'm dying to read more books by authors I already love.
This challenge is a reminder to do that. Don't put off reading your favorite authors for the sake of strangers you may or may not enjoy. Allow yourself a little bit of self-indulgence.
For this challenge, choose those books you most want to read, by favorite authors, or maybe books in a favorite series. Seize the Day!
