Welcome, Kassandra! Good luck!
Stephen wrote: "Bought myself The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. One simply has to buy books otherwise xmas would be awash with socks and bizarre gifts."LOL That's the way to do it - I'm buying my own book-gifts this year, too!

Congrats on the best Christmas present ever, haha!

I can add
Haroun and the Sea of Stories to my list. Wonderful book!

Only 5 days left to go!!!

Welcome, Ellie! Good luck!

Thanks, LuAnn! Probably a few of them will be children's books for me, LOL. I'm not at a very high reading level just yet, especially with Russian. Sadly, I don't think they do children's books in Latin, though. I'll have to dive in at the deep end with that one!

LOL I know the feeling, LuAnn! It's so hard to resist all the challenges thrown about on Goodreads. 100 is a great goal!

Only 6 more days to go!!!
I've ordered my first January reads from my library's website, so now I'm all anxious to get them and see them sitting on my shelf in a big juicy stack. :D
Do you know what your first read of the year will be?

Those look interesting, Chase!
Dely, I loved those books!

Welcome, LuAnn! Good luck with your challenges!

A Christmas Carol! It's just not Christmas without it. :)

I didn't get any books for Christmas, guys! :(
However, the post-Christmas sales have started, so I'm about to make up for it, heh...

Nice challenges! Good luck, Inkeri. :)

Spectactular goals, everyone! Maybe we should count up how many books our members read on the whole throughout the year - I'm sure it would end up in the thousands!
Kim, I've tried to compile a TBR list for 2014, but when I filled all 90 slots to complete my goal and still had dozens of books left over that I want to read just as desperately as those, it started to make me kind of sad, LOL. I never feel like I've read enough!
