118012 I've been finding it so hard to decide what to read recently! I have too many books to choose from...
118012 I had the pleasure of studying this book last semester in my 'Writing Women' module. I hope everyone enjoys it!
118012 I bought this like last year, and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. I've heard mixed things about it, and part of me is daunted by it. But I'm willing to give it a go!
118012 It is a complex novel. When I first thought about reading it, all I really knew was that is was focused on the French Revolution. But there is so much more to it!
118012 We're going to the side of the pond we probably know most about. However, there are parts of Western Europe where you can spread your wings! There's no need to stick to the typical British or French literature!

As always, we're focusing on books that were written by Western European authors, or written/set in Western Europe!

Countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
118012 There are some truly amazing people that have been, and are currently, on this planet. And there's no better way to find out about them than their biographies!

Whose life will you focus on this month?

Check out Goodreads' 'Best Biographies' list for some ideas!
118012 I think this will be a really amazing month for our Genre challenge. With both good and bad happening around the world (same-sex marriage passed in Ireland and Greenland, but the widespread unrest over racism in the US police), it's a good time to examine the minority groups that are at the forefront of our news today!

Will you focus on LGBT issues, race and racism, disabilities, mental health?

118012 How is we nearly half way through the year?! What?!

Time really does fly!

So, what are you going to read this month? Perhaps a half-way-through-the-year celebratory read? Something you've been saving?
118012 I'll definitely be reading this!

118012 Good luck, Melissa! You're definitely stronger than I am! I can go for like 2 days, and I occasionally just do an 'off day'. But 4 days would be a killer!

118012 This seems so odd to me, considering Mothers Day in the UK is in March! Nevertheless, a massive hug to all the Mothers out there. I couldn't do what you do!

P.S. I just burnt my hand cooking instant noodles. #studentlife
118012 I've just hit page 100. I managed to read a decent amount last night...
118012 Well, that escalated quickly.

This book went from simple family drama to full on tyranny, murder, madness and politics literally in a matter of pages.

Watch out, guys!

118012 This discussion definitely makes me interested in reading it! I do however, have to get through One Hundred Years of Solitude.

118012 I'm a poor student, so I might not be able to afford the audiobook! But I'll definitely try get it. I know audible do a 'first audiobook free' thing, so I might check that out!

118012 I've heard many good things about Yes Please, and as a massive fan of Parks and Rec, I've been meaning to read it for ages!
118012 Renee, you're bound to find one online! :)
118012 40 pages in an I'm still a bit daunted by it. but I definitely have a better idea of the family and who is who. I have a handy family tree in the front of my edition, thank god!

118012 Many mumblings and groanings have occurred since I realised, believe me. And a fair bit of angry pacing.

Nevertheless, I have tentatively started One Hundred Years of Solitude, as I'm in the mood for fiction and the only books I have from the library are non-fiction books. I could walk up there and get something, but I need to actually push myself to start One Hundred Years, which I'm a bit daunted by...

118012 Dammit. I was planning on starting Orange is the New Black, but I realised I forgot to bring my Kindle with me back to Uni...

And the library doesn't have a copy. My life is over.
