118012 I'm about to sit down and read a book for pleasure for the first time in like 2 months! So ready for this!
118012 The first round is up and advertised on that massive banner on the homepage!

Any particular favourites you voted for? Any you were sad to see didn't make the cut?

118012 I'm doing English Lit, so it's basically ideal for me. Gives me an excuse to read all the books I want but actually for a reason!

I'm currently in the library planning my essay on criticism on the divine right of kings in Richard II and Edward II. Planning on getting home and starting Song of Myself and 'Tis Pity She's a Whore. Really want to make enough time to read books I actually want to read for leisure, but Uni is manic right now!

118012 Planning on spending the night reading! Currently reading 'Walden, or Life in the Woods' by Henry David Thoreau which I am absolutely adoring!

118012 Renee, I feel the same way! I've been so inundated with uni reading and I've been so busy, reading anything seems like the last thing on my mind!

I'm half way through Pudd'nhead Wilson by Mark Twain, and I need to finish that and read The Spanish Tragedy for Tuesday. Fun times!

(I really want to read Go Set a Watchman but I haven't had any time at all...)

118012 I'll get on with thinking about different badges! Excited about this!

118012 We could always make little badges that people can add to their personal challenges threads?
118012 Eastern Europe has an insane amount of Literature that spans both classics and some of the up and coming best books!

Countries include: Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Kosovo, Moldova, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, part of Turkey and Italy.

Look at Goodreads' Popular Eastern European Books list
118012 This month's Non-Fiction topic has so many interesting avenues to explore. Want to look at what makes us 'us'? Want to look at what makes people become psychopaths?

This months group read is The Last Victim: A True-Life Journey into the Mind of the Serial Killer, which sounds insanely interesting and scary.

If you're stuck on what to read, look at Goodreads' genre page for Psychology, or its 'Greatest Psychology Books' list!
118012 Mwhahahaha. Horror, thriller and horror!

To celebrate the terrifying month of October, we're focusing on Horr & Thrillers, but also using this month to look at Short Stories! Either combine the two, or keep them separate!

Make sure to take part in our Halloween Readathon for loads of spooky reading!

Stuck for ideas? Check out Goodreads' genre page for Horror. Also look at the some popular books shelved as short stories!

118012 Sorry the October threads are a bit late this month!

With our exciting Halloween Readathon coming up, it's the perfect time of year to get really stuck in and maximise your reading while enjoying an awesome holiday!

What are you planning to read this October? Something really spooky? Or perhaps one of our group reads?

118012 Gonna go for Level 1! Can't decide between I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings or The Diary of a Young Girl. Or maybe Alice in Wonderland
118012 Really looking forward to reading this so much!

118012 I'm also going to be changing the banner over the next few days. Any ideas for what it should be? Or just go back to plain with a subheading?
