118012 I have never heard that saying! I'll add it to my small repertoire!

118012 I really loved it! It's so relevant today it's scary!

It will definitely warrant a re-read sometime in the future!

118012 Typical, I finished The Color Purple yesterday and it's just outside the dates for this challenge. Damn!
118012 Lindy, you can find the 50 Book Challenge in our mini-challenges folder. It's quite a way down!

118012 Go Melissa! I too read A Room of Ones Own recently. What did you think of it?
118012 Cindy, Much Ado About Nothing was my first Shakespeare play, and it's a very enjoyable read. I think it's probably one of the easiest and lighthearted plays to read. So it's a great place for you to start!

I know what it's like to be daunted by Shakespeare! If you need any guidance, don't hesitate to post here. I'd be more than happy to help!

118012 21. Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy
22. The Color Purple by Alice Walker
23. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

Three fabulous books that are each wonderful in their own way!
118012 I might try fit this in for the Readathon!

118012 Now that things have comfortably settled in for this year, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions to make the group even better this year?

We're always looking for new things!

118012 These threads have accidentally been forgotten about over the last few months, so many apologies for that!

April is a great time to read, especially with Easter and the warm weather starting to seep in.

What are you planning to read this April? Anything especially picked out for our Readathon? Anything distinctly Easter-related?

118012 Definitely will try fit in as many books as I can for this!

118012 That's one hell of a book, Caitlin. 700 pages seems so long!
118012 I loved both King Lear and Richard III! They are two of my favourite Shakespeare's!

Think I'm gonna see how many Shakespeare's I can read in a month!

118012 Such a wonderful idea!

118012 I might try focus this on LGBTQ+ titles, just to add some further meaning to the rainbow!

118012 God, I haven't even started it yet. I unfortunately missed some great opportunities that would have been perfect for this challenge!

118012 I read Lord of the Flies in half a day, it was so immersive. If you want something relatively short that packs a punch, go for that. :)

As for the other book, I've never heard of it, so I can't really help!

Follow Faye's advice, flip a coin. ;)

118012 Its completely okay to do that, Danielle :)

118012 Finally updated my list! It was so behind!
118012 One of my favourite Shakespeare plays! If anyone wants to watch it as well, Joss Whedon's 2012 film is wonderful!
