Yeah. I saw that the other day, a Buddy Project: Roberts and Clooney have been friends for ages. Forgettable.
Kali Dancing by Zarina Braybrooke ★★☆☆☆ Travel is an excellent test of a relationship’s potential endurance - Jack and “Kali” are a poor match. The magical part of the story makes little sense, if she is part goddess then so is my doorknob. Or maybe she is the doorknob? Whatever.
The Global Warming Myth by Paula Frew ★★★★½ “In reality, the Earth’s orbit had been steadily drifting nearer the sun.”
Shiiiit. That was excellent. Short and brutal. It was a prosaic version of The Blue Afternoon That Lasted Forever by Daniel H. Wilson.
Misfire by Elizabeth McCleary ★★★½☆ A cheerful story of a young witch who accidentally pulls off an advanced spell.
Dark Tower was a journey decades in the making, not an action movie. But I like action movies enough to accept that answer from the uninitiated.
I have been waiting for a movie about the Thai soccer players rescued from the cave and Ron Howard just made it! https://youtu.be/5i9PSDPZ6bQThank you Prime!
Hocus Pocus 2: https://youtu.be/FbSdWsPgMvUThere are people who have been waiting their whole lives for this. I really need to try out the first one.
Flaming Cassandra, or I Hate Being Right by Louise Foerster ★★★★☆ I love it when a story flips on the last sentence! A girl who is blessed to see fires and cursed to have no one believe her - or not :)

The Mermaid of the Concrete Ocean by Caitlín R. Kiernan ★★★★☆ Kiernan can make even ordinary moments magical. I could have listened to this old New York muse talk for hours…
Salt Wine by Peter S. Beagle ★★★★☆ After saving the life of a merrow Henry Lee receives the merman’s most precious possession - a recipe for salt wine. It makes him a fortune but not everyone can handle the wine.
Interesting. The last book I read of the series Cersie had been taken by a religious cult and sent a message to her brother - I love you l love you I love you…It was all too stressful, lol. All I know of the show is from YouTube clips, and that alone often ticks me off.
