114553 I got you beat Emma, I finished work at four and I am now off until Monday. But I have to go to the Hospice for the launch of the latest writing group booklet. Am reading a piece from a friend who passed away last month and a piece I wrote for his wife.

114553 Sounds very similar to the Picture Of Dorian Grey.
114553 It sounds like the teacher needs a break to Linda. Or is it the teacher having the temper tantrums, I know we use to drive our teachers crazy...
114553 I guess one can say my life is akimbo, with that definition, and it fits.

114553 Yup, that hit the funny bone, it sad but I know people like that, clueless and self centered.
114553 Good evening all, Just got an assignment from the writing group I attend. Thought I would pass it on to you, to see what all you intelligent people can do with it.

The assignment is to write one line for each year of you life with one repeating word or phrase in each line.

My repeating phrase is "So it continues." I have chosen to write one line from each year of my life for example my first line is this.

I was born, so it continues.

Up to 24 lines, and it's getting harder. Only 31 lines to go, not even half way there yet...

Can you learn me how to receive PO's, No I can't learn you, you are un-learnable. Don't know why they go away in a huff.

P.S. PO stands for purchase order.

114553 Ye Olde English has always interested me. Thee and thou makes reading more interesting. As they would say Make haste wench with that tea. Oooh they were rather rude back then.

114553 Si vis pacem para bellum, If you wish for peace prepare for war. This was a motto in our office when I was in the Air Force.

Basically the better prepared you are for war the greater chance you will have peace.

114553 and one of mine. "I know what I knows is all that I know but is what I know enough ?" Try saying that three times fast or just typing it.

114553 I like Obsequious I think I spelled it right. The obsequious little toad thought he was going to get away with it, alas he was caught in his own web of deceit.

114553 Turhan, I am terrible at spelling and punctuation, but maybe I did mean it in the plural tense. But nay I don't retaliate much or often, or is It constantly and all the time. Can't remember.
