114553 you can make a soup in as little as 30 min. Depends on what type of soup you want. I can make a split pea and ham soup in about 2 hrs. The taste is out of this world you couldn't get that out of a tin. The only thing a tin is good for is quickness. And there is nothing wrong with ramen or Wonton noodles.
114553 It all depends on what you consider bad.
114553 First we make your stomach grumble, the we weave our words and starve your mind of intellectual thought.
114553 Oh no please not from the tin, homemade is so much better. Split pea is one of my favorites and am going to make a pumpkin soup in the week, as well as pumpkin bread and a cake. I think I will be pumpkind out after next week.

114553 Just finished prince of fools.

Ok here is me being a sad sac, lol. I have now started Hunger I know it's a kids book, but Gone was good so went out on a limb and got the rest of the series.
114553 Welcome back Frenchie good to see you have missed your whit and friendly ways. It hasn't been the same without you.
114553 they both sound very fishy, and neither sounds like a very Scottish name.
114553 Fish is over rated, don't like it that much. I'd much rather watch them swimming in a tank than eat them.
114553 Wow who found the stairway to heaven.
114553 Ok.
114553 Let her know we are thinking of her and we are here when ever she needs us. did she give any news on her writing project ?
114553 good evening all, Linda that picture reminds me of a scene from a movie, I happen to be watching right now. Avatar can't beat a good movie.
114553 LOL that picture just reminded me of a book I read as a kid and again last year, it called My Side of the Mountain. It's a kids book but well worth reading.

It was scary though I was thinking about the book but couldn't remember the name. A friend at work asked for a short synopsis of it. She found it and when I re-read it I was surprised at how much I remembered after almost forty years.

I would rather watch paint dry then football to be totally honest. I don't mind watching snooker as I like playing pool and the game actually requires real skill and you don't see the players go flying through the air and claiming a foul. OK if they did that with snooker they would look a bit foolish LOL but so don't the football players.

I love The Stand - it's my favourite book of all time. I must ..."

LOL I am up there as well high teens for the stand and the Long walk.
114553 Ori, every now and then we need to spoil our selves, yes you could be adult about it and put it in the bank, but you could be realistic and split it 50/50 spoil your self a little and save a little.
114553 Nope, don't play, my son watches I read...
114553 I like football, because it gives me more time to read. That is the only thing it is good for.
