Something tells me Mr Imp is going to be a very bad boy, Can anyone else see pain and embarrassment in the near future for our intrepid friend ?

I was 28 at the time LOL. That tells you how old I am now.

Hmmm Dec 1987, I was in Germany, as I remember rightly it was very cold and snowy...

LOL yes you would, you just learn to drink lots of water, I was averaging about 1 liter an hour, and you sweat it all off so no excessive runs to the WC.

Linda if you have an inflatable bed you better have an anchor as well or you will end up floating away.
Emma 25's not bad, I spent 4-5 months in the desert and the average daily temp was in excess of 50. They put a stop on it so it wouldn't exceed 50 so people had to keep working. A bit cheeky of them I know but what can you do.
Ori, I took a couple of English lit classes quite enjoyed the reading part but the reports were a problem for me. Had to write by hand couldn't type or use a word processer. By the time I got my first paper back form the professor, it had more red then black or white. The details were great she said, what she could decipher from my scribble. As a matter of fact she said I covered to much of it, it was only suppose to be 300-600 words she stopped counting at 800 words. but worst of all was the mechanics of writing spelling and punctuation, non existent LOL.
Still managed to scrape a B out of it though.

Of course you can all come to Cornwall with me, but we only have room for 6 in the rented caravan and six of us are already going, but if the weather is nice there is plenty of sand and the sound of the wave to put you to sleep at night. And morning fry-ups, bacon eggs sausage hash browns beans toast and fried bread. All washed down with gallons and gallons of coffee and tea.

Your choice is important more so then you know to hide a blade curved or straight is the most important issue. Up the sleeve it could work with a straight blade, down the back or under the are is fine for the elegant curved blade. But here is a thought, I wear one in plain sight. It is round, I wear it on my wrist, A band un-note worthy in appearance. But when needed I flick it up into my hand and let the slicing commence. hands fingers throat my aim is true. When done I flick it back and no one is the wiser...

Nope sorry can't go on that school trip, going to Cornwall instead. Going to St Ives bay, Lovely there the only thing is going up and down the hills to get to the beach is a pain in the you know what. Love the beaches there though...

Just had a wonderful thunderstorm here, it has cooled of nicely. Love watching the Lighting the way it lightens up the night sky leaving a glowing after image that can be seen when you close your eyes. I wish I could draw that image, even after it's faded I can picture it in my mind the beauty of it the awesome power that surges through it.

Here is a line from one of my favorite songs.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes when the waves turn the minuets into hours...
See if you can figure out what song and who the artist is.

Good evening all, Once again I have been asked to write something for the St Nicolas Hospice writing group pamphlet. I haven't been many times this year but the still want me to provide them something to promote the writing group. I'm in a bit of a tis was as I haven't written much in the last year.

A bargain is a bargain the world around. We all love to save a penny or two even if we have to spend the odd extra pound or two for the savings. For me It's plants, my local home base has some bamboo on half price normally 30 pounds now 15. Unfortunately I don't have the pounds to save the pennies, story of my life as I wanted more Bamboo to act as a screen. Francine, you talk about soap, when I was in the military I use to collect little bars of soap and little bottles of shampoo for a mobility kit it saved me literally 100's of dollars. I always collected them when I was staying in a hotel room. As I was on military orders the room was paid for and all I had to do was remember to collect them each day before I went out to work. Hows that for cheap...

Just started Mr. Mercedes, by Stephen King.

Try the way of Kings it is a Fantasy with a more ancient feel to it, or George R.R. Martin's game of thrones again fantasy with a Med evil feel...

Life is like the ledge we titter on it wavering back and forth do we plunge in head first or do we stand there and watch it go by. Stepping off the ledge represents giving up control of our lives and giving into chance...

Relax on sunday never happen went to the church to visit and care for my daughter. Lovely flowers form a broken heart.

This proves a point, we are all the same inside no matter what we see on the out side. We all bleed red even the blue bloods bled red. Unfortunately, we need to teach this lesson over and over again, because human kind has a very short attention span.

Kath, I loved it, I like a challenge and have seen this type before. I find the challenge of reading them fun, unfortunately I learned a trick on reading them and now they are no challenge at all.

I wouldn't mind walking up, it is walking down that would get to my Knee ever since I injured it I have problems going down hill it wants to collapse on me.

True the Illyad is an epic, but it is a rare exception, as in everything there is always an exception.
