Here is one that always irks me, The other day I... Or this guy I know...
One of the guys at work is always saying that next time he does I am going to ask if everything happened the other day, and to the guy you know. I swear he know more then anyone I met. I asked him if it was the same guy or a different guy he walked away and didn't speak to me for the whole day, oh I was so depressed, Not.

I'm hungry feed me, NOW. I think therefore I am does that mean if I think I am a god I am a god or does it mean I am delusional ? More then likely I am. but it is a good Delusion.

Hmm, not into pinching, and whit rabbit is from Alice in wonderland and is good in a Rabbit stew.
My phrase for today is: he who dares is screwed. Dare to challenge your boss and see who wins, LOL. I don't often get away with it but it works on the 1st of April or so I hope. Will find out for certain in a few day whether he has a sense of humor or not.

It is a labor of love I guess, I can't quite once I start. I have only ever abandoned one book, and it was written by my favorite author. It's called Gerald's Game by Stephen King.

Just started The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan book 5 in a series of 14. Ori it sounds like it's a real groan of a book.

OK next Harry Potter challenge, What is your favorite quote list book and the quote. This for me will take a lot of thought as I have so many I like for example, an overly excited Vernon Dursely, But what are dementoids ? Order of The Phoenix.
No it's not my favorite but it does make me laugh which makes it worth mentioning.

Mayhap you are right, I haven't really taken any notice.

Ori, it is not confusion of the words it is the differences in culture, people who speak the same language are the most confusing to understand. It is easy to forgive someone who native language is different then yours for miss using a word or phrase.
People tell me I don't speak proper English, they are right I speak American, although they use the same words and almost the same spelling the use of the words and sentence structure can be completely different.
Suffice it to say, Americans can be annoying and confusing but would you have us any other way ?

Elise, I agree on Luna, and the Weasley twins, everyone wants to think they have a bit of Mischievous in them. Thestral, yes I can see the appeal of them. Lucius Malfoy, not for me a coward and a wimp didn't even make a good bad guy. He is only good at scaring kids. But Hagrid is a loveable unlikely hero.
DM, Hermione, does have her appeal, Dragons are good, Severus Snape the most unlikely of all characters in the books to be liked but when you get to know him I can see how you can come to like him, even if Harry, Ron and Hermione can't see past there loathing of him. Yes everyone love a mother figure, especially one as caring as Molly. Yes Poor Vernon so single minded and blind to everything. Him and Petunia they just can't seem to see the good in any one or anything in the magical world.

Admittedly, I didn't I was busy reading the words and have a tendency to be a bit narrow sighted, not minded. I do have a tendency to ignore photo's and drawings. Now you see the results of that outlook, silly me.

he is a well developed Dwarf, he was not blessed with height so he was blessed with , well I will let your imagination answer that but I don't think it would be to difficult to figure out. It's alright for you the first time I read it I thought the person writing was a man... I got a tad confused until I realized I was mistaken.

We all say my child upon occasion even the boy when mad, I mean people who use the term exclusively. They never make mention of the children's names and seem to use the term of boy girl or child in a derogatory way.
The use of child is common but it is not normally exclusive to most parents.

I guess maybe I had better answer it as well.
1. Yes Neville
2. Ginny
3. Dobby
4. Lupin
5. Mrs. Weasley
6. Hardest of the Lot, Snape appeared to be bad but wasn't. It would have to be Belatrix for me.

Ok you all know, or you will now that I am a big fan of Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling.
First off lets start with your favorite Character of which I have so many it is near impossible to choose one. I will break it down Just a little.
1. Favorite male character that is a Student.
2. Favorite Female character that is a student.
3. Favorite creature.
4. Favorite Adult male character.
5. Favorite female character.
6. Favorite bad guy.
I know this still seems impossible but lets see where it leads.

80 percent through book two in the First law series by Joe Abercrombie, looking forward to reading book three.

I know it just grinds on you some times. Almost as bad is My child. My child got an A in math, or My child has detention for swearing at the teacher. Grow up people use you children's names be proud of them instead of marginalizing them with the term child or boy and girl. Or are you not proud of your children's names and accomplishments ? OK, I think it is time for me to step down from my soap box, I am beginning to sound like a preacher.

What get me is people who have no sense of reality, if that's the right word. Example, a couple I knew many a year ago when I was young asked if I would look after the family pets when the went on holiday, not a problem I love animals. I asked the names of the pets and here was the answer "the cats name is cat, and the dogs name is dog." It's a good thing they didn't have any kids or the girls name would be girl and the boys name would be boy. How sad some people are.

I think the worst phrase is "I told you, didn't I tell you" The answer is no you fool you didn't say a thing.

Unfortunately you run into people like that all the time. There is always someone who will criticize you no matter what you do, and no matter how clear and precise your writing is they will find fault.

Oh but don't we all hate people who think the are more important then thou. These holy roller, who think there opinion counts and yours doesn't just because the they administer to a particular forum. Do they really thing we are clueless and Ignorant. Maybe they need to look at what is said instead of what they think or feel is true based on false information.
I had several discussions with a Collage professor about what he thought was true and what was known about the individual in question. In the end he had to concede the point and give me the top grade as I proved with out a shadow of doubt that I knew more and read more then he did. That is the really scary part though.
