1107032 Okay, I gave you a review on chapter 1. What's funny is even though I spaced and broke my ramblings into sentences, coursera jumbled all my words together. looks bad...

1107032 Just came back from visiting the higher elevations of Arizona. We were lucky enough to see the small flurry of snow begin Friday night.

Saturday morning we woke up and enjoyed the snow while we remained warm inside by the fire. I believe this is the first time i've had the pleasure of witnessing the movement of snow. The way the little specs move about in a dandelion fashion. Then every now and then the current of air would push off the snow building at the ledge of a home and create a surreal image as though the roof of the building were about to fade away to ash.

I'm warm again and I don't envy those of you having to live in that climate for months at a time. It was a beautiful experience but I am glad to have been able to leave it there and visit again if we'd like. I'm not sure how those individuals on 'Life below Zero' do it but I sure do have a lot more respect for them now.

Well, we're almost done with our first month of the new year, how is everyone doing?

1107032 Do you have a link to your first chapter? I'm kind of lost, all I know is a man escorted susan into his room and took off her shoes.

Well, I know a lot about the furniture in the mans room but nothing really of where or what the story is.

1107032 Welcome James!

Your logline sounds good. What's the motivation for the character to uncover the destruction of her city? Was she a noble or a princess that fled or just a civilian who lost her family?

1107032 Marcia, its interesting that you don't have a favorite book (at least in our 'writing' neck of the woods). Do you have a favorite author?

1107032 Marcia, don't know if the pun was intended but it was funny.
My writing is romantic at its core,.. boy screws girl is boring... maybe I just need more MEAT on my men. Haha.

Welcome to the GODS! We are going on our 2nd year I believe were other groups have fallen apart in a month. There has been a lot of people to filter through but we've made a few long term members who check in casually.

We actually have a few romance writers that are active in here. I think both Beata and Evelyn are romance writers. Please make yourself comfortable. This forum is here for each member to use as a community. We wish you luck in writing and hope you drop in once and a while to banter with us.

1107032 You're a plethora of information Tomas. Not only are you published but you've also done website creation for author information and promotion. You understand the process of writing and editing.

From start to successful you are more knowledgeable than I am. Please feel free as a moderator to help me organize all this information into easily accessible and functionally categorized.

How to Become a Published Author by
Central Park South Publishing
Jan 11, 2022 07:54AM

1107032 Absolutely. The more we all contribute, the more resources we will all have. The only problem is trying to organize that information so that its easily accessible to everyone.

we might have some writers that do not chat with us but still find the group helpful in accumulating the sites and information that they need.

1107032 Organizing the forums a bit. Trying to better categorize all the information into three groups. A forum for writing tips, a second for websites that contain tons of writing info and a third for when you're ready to publish.

I'll also start condensing information as much as I can. This way you can read through without having to back out and open a new topic each time.
