Thanks!
Lee - is that a pale ale or a dark one? Don't think I have sampled that one yet ;) I have had a sneaky glass of rose!

It's never-ending isn't it Hilary? Then again, there's very rarely anything good on the telly....

Lol, Thanks everyone!! I'm happy to be leaving so party music is definitely appropriate!
They weren't too bad (at least to my face) so better than expected - phew! I'm starting with a supply teaching agency once term starts as a teaching assistant and will be working mostly with children/young people with SEN.

That makes a lot of sense actually Ellie
(view spoiler)[ a lot of the things with Sophie and Boris reflect the flashbacks with his parents (hide spoiler)]

I just watched the Charles II song - That's cheered me right up!

It might even (touch wood) be decent weather again!
On another note, I am handing my notice in at work today so am really nervous cos they can be a bit nasty (one of the reasons I'm leaving) so am expecting a bit of s**t :(

Yeah I thought that about his parents and his relationship with Sophie and Boris.
(view spoiler)[ I think that's why he gets so upset with the neightbour for saying these things when Boris is there - I don't think he wants to hear it himself! (hide spoiler)]

lol ;) I'm not really very good at road rage (still too new at driving)

I'm really far behind, he has just got to the reception on night 2 with Sophie and Boris.

Jo that sounds brilliant! I will have to get it (and because I'm stupid I will probably read it after dark and scare myself silly lol!!)

Awww Eeyore!! He's great isn't he?

I liked the idea and the general storyline of The Hundred Year Old Man but I didn't like the writing not sure if that was just the translation or if it reads like that in it's original language (Swedish?)

Sounds good Hilary - I haven't read anything by him but he is on my 'Author's to get round to' list!

I liked the dancing chef too - wonder if that was a fashion statement or if he come straight from work?
Love John Lee Hooker as well obvs!

Yeah me too, wouldn't have lasted five minutes as a Puritan!
I am so gutted I never got to see John Lee Hooker play live :(

Cool, I like! What's the rest of it like? Any good?

I started off thinking that Ellie, that it would all start making sense by the end but I'm losing hope - I'm not convinced I will be any the wiser once I (finally) get to the end!

Why is it that he seems to live with Sophie and Boris and keeps having to go away for his work, but at the same time, he is visiting this city???? It's still very surreal in a dream like way - I don't think this is ever going to start making sense....
