[close] 🚨Calling all queer book bros! 🏳️‍🌈 This is the group for us manchilds who never want to fully grow up to share in our enjoyment of Young Adult MM Romance in a safe private space reserved for adult 18+ men only. Sadly, some members of the other YA groups have recently taken an ageist stance and have made wrongful accusations, stereotyping all adult men in YA groups as predators, many of whom I have gotten to know personally and are outstanding moral characters and some are even YA librarians in their communities. Many of us adult men who enjoy YA MM lit do so because us Millennials and Gen X’ers simply never had the experience of YA books geared toward our community growing up, just enjoy the innocence of uncomplicated young love as a break from our spicier adult reads, or want a lighter, quicker read (you fellow ADHD’ers know what I’m talking about!) Come as you are and show your YA queer book bro pride without judgement or shame and perhaps make a bookish brofriend or two or three…! While this is an all men’s group, we do support feminism, but also realize there are many other groups out there for our gurrrrl besties to join… this is a sacred place where we aren’t just fans of MM Romance, we have lived it in some shape or form. **New group as of October 2025: Now interviewing for discussion leader volunteers willing to put in a few hours a week! Specifically looking for a Trans & Gender Spectrum Discussion Leader, a Disability & Mental Health Discussion Leader, a Racial Diversity Discussion Leader, and a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Discussion Leader.
