Rossy I thought the list only included characters actually attending high school/college, but it looks like a few of these books have teachers in it instead.

Teva I am hoping someone can help. I recently read a gay romance about high school with bullying. The one character was shy; the other character lived in a trailer. There was bullying, one character went to prison, the other to a "mental health" facility, they went to Florida, drove a truck, and lived happily ever after. Cannot find on my kindle! Can someone help with the author or title?

Nemesis Hi Teva! Sorry, I don't know the book, but as you are a member of the M/M Romance Group you can post there what you wrote here. They have a thread just about this subject. The link is:

Teva Thanks for the recommendation. I found the title - it's Kamikaze Boys! Whew. that was driving me crazy.

Angela I'm looking for book under this category that I can't remember the name. It is about a boy who is crazy over this other boy. The one boy is in denial and shows up at his house for some bit of fooling around but does not hang with this kid in public. The gay boy/man starts hanging around his newly moved in neighbor who is gay and ends up losing his virginity to him. The denial boy starts to admit he wants to be with gay young man but it is too late because he already fell in love with the neighbor.

Alicja Hi! I added Mannen som elsket Yngve (The Man Who Loved Yngve) written by Norwegian writer Tore Renberg. I found that is a popular title even in Poland. I'm suprised it's not at the top of this list! I have also watched a film version of it and I recommend you both. The plot is about a 17 years old boy dreaming about being a rockstar and his fascination about a new schoolmate. Don't expect erotic scenes or even kissing ;) It’s rather about feelings, emotions and process of adolescence. I'm sure you won't guess the ending, it’s not as simple and romantic as you suspect.

Julia ♥Duncan♥ Doesn't seem like Admit One belongs on here, since the MC is a teacher not a student.

message 12: by Victoria (new)

Victoria Hi there,
Does anybody know the title of a book with three high school boys, told from three perspectives? One wrote emails to his brother, one wrote in a journal and the other one had and awful bullying incident with some girls. They all ended up together.
I know I loved it and went back for a reread but now can't find it!
It's driving me insane.

message 14: by Lizzy (new)

Lizzy Sz hi! i'm looking for the name of two books:
for the first book all i can remember it's that there was a gay kid who was bullied at school, and in the school's bus, then one day was very hard and after he came home from school, he took a knife from the kitchen and when to his backyard and was thinking about commit suicide, but suddenly he started to see another boy, it was his boyfriend who had come from the future to try to stop him from commit suicide by showing him the life he would have in the future. that's what i remember, if someone knows the name, please please let me know i'm desperate to re-read this book.

and for the second, there was this boy, his parents have sent him to his aunt (after, i don't remember if he told them, or they discovered that he was gay).he then makes friendship with this guy who helps his aunt( by the way his aunt lives in a ranch or big house that has a lake in the backyard) they start going out, and at the end they become a couple, and he also make new friends, and i think i remember the boy at the end gets adopted by his aunt.
please if anyone could help me getting the names of this two books i would so appreciated! thank you in advance.
