This is basic Genetics 101: When you isolate people with certain genetic characteristics and allow them to inbreed, they are more like to produce offspring with the same genetic characteristics. How in the world does it make sense to isolate the GDs in hopes that they at some point start producing GPs en masse? Furthermore, how does socially condemning the GDs help the cause when you should be encouraging them to mix with the GPs as much as possible in order to dilute the so-called anomaly. Even when GPs are produced within the experiment, i.e. the Divergent, why in the hell wouldn't you immediately remove them instead of supporting the continuance of the faction system that threatens to suck the Divergent offspring back into the fold of the GD. It makes no sense.(less)
