I just finished reading Crimes by Moonlight: Mysteries from the Dark Side, anthology of what I'd like to call cozy horror. Edited by Charlaine Harris. I enjoyed every story. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...

Day So did you color the author photos the way you did to cover up the fact that you couldn't be arsed to get a single person of color to give their summer reads?

i love that it's always summer in Honduras! when i go to visit my family i'm always so jealous

message 257: by MollyRN (new)

MollyRN I'm on a terrible streak. I've dug in for some great summer reading and have been disappointed in all so far. I'm thinking I should stick with my normal reading as apparently the chicklit, summer read stuff is not for me.

High recommendations for Elin Hilderbrand's work so I started with The Beach Club...Nope. Now I've just finished my assigned book club read, Big Little Lies by (I don't care)....hated it. There was another one thrown in there between these and I can't even recall it. Three bad ones in a row. Yikes.

I'm hopeful for my next one, Still Life by Canadian Author Louise Penny. I'd seen her on a morning show a couple weeks ago. Oh please, please be readable!
