It's winter in Chile.

We are just starting with summer, here in southern germany. On the weekend we had about 26degree outside.

It's Summer/Rainy in India but, no summer break to savour all these delicacies. Miss those school days of long summer break and non-stop reading :(
Jacob wrote: "It is the end of Autumn and next month is winter here in Australia"Exactly, pretty sure Goodreads is used by people in both the northern and southern hemispheres, which makes it coming into Winter here in Oz!
Yep, nearly winter here in Aus, but I'm still in tshirts, cause this is the hottest autumn we've ever had in Sydney, according to the records. It's 24 here today :)
It's almost always summer in Hawaii! Looking forward to some beach reads... Fluffy chick-lit, vampires, werewolves and demons, oh my!
I just finished reading Stephen King's memoir, "On Writing". He mentioned some authors and books that I'd like to read to further explore his thoughts on writing.

There are only three countries that don't currently use the metric system, and Germany isn't one of them. Also, 26 degrees Celsius is warm for sure; definitely summer weather.
26 Celsius is 78.8 Fahrenheit, so, yes I agree that's warm! I'm in California. We're having the same weather right now.
Another one for winter in Oz - it's a shame we didn't have a summer reading list for those of us in the other hemisphere. Although I have to say that I tend to read more in winter than summer anyway ... long, dark nights, colder days spent inside, and so on. Admittedly, it doesn't get all that cold just north of Coffs Harbour. Still, a winter reading list would suit me. ;)

Arelis wrote: "It's winter in Chile."Lmao, this made me laugh. I never thought about how annoying must be for the south hemisphere that viral media focuses mainly on the seasons in the northern hemisphere.
I bet you guys get a lot of "Christmas in summer?? that's crazy"
As a northern bird I say, I hope you enjoy some good books in this summer-winter season!

Southern Hemisphere Fam!!!!! WOOoooooooOOOOoo. It's really chilly here in NZ too.

It is quite annoying (we're half the world, maybe not the most populated, but still, you're ignoring us!), but you get used to it.
It's so cool to hear from all around the world! Hello from China! Summer's also just arriving for us here. :)
Summer is almost over here in the Philippines, here comes the wet season, although it feels like summer all year round here :)
Yes, nearly winter here in Australia, not summer at all, but it's not too cold at present in Adelaide.
evet, yaz demek; bir sahil, havadar bir balkon, yeşilli çimenli bir park ve de tabii ki iyi bir kitap.
Benozir wrote: "Any classic children's books you guys know which would be great to read in this summer ?"Hi Benozir, this list may give you some ideas!
Thank you Shaun but I want to read this books in a PDF form . None of them are available in the archive.org Could you please suggest me a website where I can download classic children's books in PDF forms. I would really appreciate it .
Best regards :)

Coke propagandas are the best, Take a look at that ad in Brazil: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EazRE...
1) Snow in Brazil
2) In summer
3) Heavily clothed Santa
We swallow without asking all the north hemisphere way of life. Christmas is just one of the things who got nothing to do with our culture.

There's no summer in Indonesia since we're close to equator line, unless by summer you mean "dry", then we have sort of summer here hahaha
