Trinton Garrett Bobbi wrote: "Hey there pretty lady...can I buy you a book?"

my wife is not a drinker so she said when we meet this was a great pick up line compared to "hey can i buy you a drink?" And I did take her to Barnes and Nobles where we cruised books and talked about different types of books we liked for one of our dates.

message 388: by Trinton (new)

Trinton Garrett Stephanie wrote: "will you marry me even though i didnt buy you a ring but instead i built you a library?"

Trinton Garrett Kama wrote: "What I would like to hear is that the wannabies online including GR willstopprojecting their fantasies on ALL people in some group. Like ths shit of a post. I couldn't care less about getting ARC. ..."

how about if you don't like these post you stop responding? Not everyone responding are "wannabies just expressing their fantasies".

I do read for free books sometimes, and do not mind it, As I devour books when I read them.

I have worked at book stores and yes for some it isn't that big a deal and for me it was great. Except I had to fight the urge to spend my pay check on books. I also live with my wife who loves books, many of my friends love books, my family loves books. I recommend books, they recommend books. I don't always read what they recommend, nor do they read what I recommend. However, it is great to talk about the books we read, and the difference between these books and the movies that comes from these books.

Posts like this can be fun and funny when someone has a good sense of humor and aren't in a place to tear others down.

So, again if you don't like posts like this then move along and don't read them or take part. No one said you had to be apart of the 'all' or 'everyone'.

message 391: by Trinton (new)

Trinton Garrett "Sure we love to publish your book, no of course not we don't expect you to self publish it, we have enough faith in the book that we will publish it and only expect you to help with some of the advertising and do book signings."

message 392: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Oh you didn't like that book. Here you go change it to your hearts content.

Oh, today's a reading day. Cool I will just leave and go get snacks for you from the grocery store.

Yes there will magically appear in your hand the food that you just read about and wanted.

I completely agree with you I love that book and hate that one.

Oh you haven't read that? You don't own that here you go, (to borrow from above) yes no charge.

Oh can I borrow that book I will return it the exact way that it appears right now or better.

That character didn't die they just took a nap and will return in the next book.

message 393: by Samantha (last edited Jan 15, 2016 02:02PM) (new)

Samantha This is a purely reading only day. I will read my book quietly over here and you read yours here. Snacks will appear in our hands and dishes will magically get done.

Samantha That character that you've been fantasizing about? They're real and they totally have a thing for you. You will be married and have as many as few children as you want.

Yes you can transport into that world you just read about. Of course, torture and any bad things are not possible for your character but all the good things are.
