Also I would quite like to hear that all the Kindle books I have in my wishlist are free to download.

(of course there should be some rules that goes with it. Like, you can travel between books and come back whenever you wish. Oh, also, you can change the events, get rid of the protagonist and become one yourself)

I very much hate books that make me cry at the end.

I want THAT to be true."
Amen

Yeah, that's never happened to me in NYC when we hear "Fire on the tracks!". ...sadly.......It's more like some person gets the homeless guy who's talking to his invisible friends all wound up and then promptly gets off the train 10 minutes later, leaving the rest of us to deal with it. Then we hear "Fire on the tracks! This train will be delayed half an hour or so..."

I love this one, it would be great on a T-shirt.

No, me too Kinsey. An enjoyable part of reading for me is my imagining the setting and the characters. Imagination is an unestimated skill. I am usually disappointed in characterisations by machines and they ruin the book for me whether I have read it or not.

(I don't even have red hair, but this post has a picture of Anne Shirley, and I ship Anne and Gilbert so hard, so...)

By: Patti 'Just read whatever you like and we will pay you. '
I dream of hearing these two sentences everyday.

" Oh baby don't cry, here's some ice cream, chocolates, cakes and sweets to calm your nerves down. My shoulder always free when you need to cry on."

My favorite"
Honest, I think my eyes would bug out if he said that, and I would definitely kiss him... and immediately start talking his ear off about the books I want him to read.

Ohhhhh I'm not so sure I would have any more time left for reading if the character I'm thinking of came to life!"
I think we're on the same page, what character do you mean?

Seconded! The life would be much easier and more fun, doing a job u´d love. But it would have to be "reading books of your choice" for me. Ahhh, that would so bloody rock. Or another one: "We liked the story you wrote. Would you mind if we printed it for you/put it on sale?" That would be another dream come true for me as a booklover - a hardcopy of something you yourself created and other people being able to share the joy. Yesss, please.

This is probably the only pickup line that would work on me. :)

Additionally I'd love to hear You've been invited on a cruise that includes all your favorite writers who will be providing you with hardcover copies, autographed and personalized to you free of charge and they can't wait to sit down and talk to you about all of your opinions on their work and allow you to pick their brains about what's coming next.
Or how about of course we'll publish a hardcover run for your collection, it was totally an oversight that we never released a hardcover edition.
And then there's yes we have created a dust jacket replacement service for that awesome used book you found that has a damaged cover.
I could list things I'd love to hear in my bookish fantasies all day long.
Numbers 9 & 15 would be awesome too.

"Okay, you want just everything from your Books wishlist on Amazon?" - Dad."
That would be awesome, as long as it was everything you ever add from there too.

Me too!

You know I'd just like to find a bookstore close by with eclectic, non-judgemental readers for employees. I don't need to work there I just want to shop there. I have the luck of either it being a huge drive to a good one or going to a store where I find employees that don't read at all or if they do they've got that look when you're an adult buying YA because they just don't get that good books come in all age categories.

Also, a release date for Winds of winter? Please, we gotta be a little realistic. Like that's ever gonna happen.

Jon Snow isn't dead. That was just a hoax.
Here's the key to a house in the woods that is full of all your best books and no one will disturb you and all your meals will just appear like magic.
Jon Snow is alive. Did you think he was dead?

Also, a release date for Winds of winter? Please, we gotta be a lit..."
Nah, it is totally normal, especially for us Potterheads

There you go! So many books I want to read!
