I want to hear, "Ah, you're reading _____. I loved that book because _____. Have you read this? Oh you have! I loved this ."

In that case, let's hope it's not a dull story. :-)
OMGosh, how I wish I could have 1, 6, 9, 16, 17 and 20 come true. It would be better than winning the mega lotteries!!

My wish for somebody to say to me:
"I know you've been alone for years and haven't had anyone to share your stories with after you've finished them. I know that's made you so sad, but guess what?!, I woke up this morning after having a fantastic dream about books, then woke with this wish to grab some books, curl up on the couch with you and share the book love!! We could bake snacks, drink hot tea and have mom, daughter special reading days together!!, Wouldn't that be awesome?" :'D
That would be awesome......but that hope will have to be in the form of reading it in a book. :'|
So many awesome choices listed above! Thank you for the fun of this blog post.

OMG, Nikki, :'( I know. I just left a similar comment above. For me, I don't have anyone for books, movies, music, meals, walks, talks.....anything. It is SO unbearably painful. Whomever said you can't die of a broken heart has obviously never been in our shoes.
*Hugs & positive Book buddy thoughts being sent your way*

But getting paid to read makes it a job and therefore not a way to escape the workday world.

I feel pity for those who wish to be asked "what books do you recommend"? I'm being asked this. Maybe change friends if yoy can't talk about books. Or start having some kind of specialisation.
Oh the naivety of the people that wish to be paid for reading a book. Especially on deadline. Working in bookstore isn'ta miracle either. Been there. Done that.
So, GR stop putting those shit types of posts.
HELLO I'VE REACHED NIRVANA!!!!*yells from the highest rooftop
