20 Things All Book Lovers Wish Someone Would Say to Them

Last week we asked on Facebook and Twitter: What do all book lovers wish someone would say to them? In our perfect world, we'd get to hear all of these. In this world…we can dream. Check out our favorite answers and imagine the reading possibilities!


1. "Your job today is to read any book you want. Make sure you spend a good eight hours at it." (@craigtimes)

beautywithbooks `your job is to read 8 hrs a day for which you will be paid. And if you spend 8 hrs reading on weekends you will get one book for free as compensation.

This is so sad!! I wish I could send you both some!

I am one of the easiest people to buy for... books, notebooks, colored pens or pencils... and my friends and little bit of family have learned this the hard way. I'm sure yours will, too!

Oh, how I wish I could send you both some books! But I wouldn't know where to send them...

I used to get the same feeling, but after many years, I have everyone trained... books, notebooks, colored pencils and pens, or white chocolates, or nothing at all!

Laureen This suggestion for comments was such an excellent one! I am a little surprised that there are other such devoted readers out there. My family think I am crazy for adoring reading and Goodreads which they haven't even tried. Why do they keep asking me about what I watch on TV. Whose got time for TV?
