Tell your Want to Read shelf to brace itself—books are coming. Sure, George R.R. Martin probably won't deliver The Winds of Winter this year, but who needs Seven Kingdoms and an Iron Throne when you've got spectacular tales of soldiers, stalkers, royals, and fugitives hitting shelves in 2016? (Actually we want it all, but we'll try to be patient.) We've rounded up some of the soon-to-be-released books that are getting the most adds here on Goodreads! How many do you want to read?

I am looking forward to The Last Star. It comes out in may and it is the final (third) book in The Fifth Wave series. It comes out in March

Books not listed there but I am looking forward to reading are Vatican Princess by C.W. Gortner. and
Marlene by C.W. Gortner and Varnished Faces by David Blixt which was just released.
I'm tired of every book being part of a series. What ever happened to having great books that wrap everything up in one book?
Even though I never read "The Gentleman Bastard" series or "Glass Sword" 1st book, I look forward to these series.
Mediocre list. I'm waiting for Morning Star, Fellside, Age of Myth, The Wolf Road and All the Birds in the Sky.

NONEof these listed, but I don't read much genre fiction, usually. The book I am most eager for is Vikram Seth's long awaited 'A Suitable Girl'! Hope it actually gets published this year!

The other books I'm looking forwards to are Peter Morwood's. He has an ebook contract with Venture Press, and in Spring of 2016 will be releasing ebook versions of The Book of Years series for the first time. Additionally The Clan Wars and Tales of Old Russia will also be published (these have been previously available as ebooks).

I can't wait for The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan! Honestly, The Blood of Olympus left me with so many questions... But there are others too!

I'm waiting for The winds of winter by George R. R. Martin... I want to finish the 5th book, but I have put it on hold until the new book is published.

Out of curiosity, are these "sponsored" books? Very few of these books seem to be "highly anticipated," judging by the comments. Getting incredibly tired of the super-commercialization of Goodreads.
Lady Midnight is the most exciting for me. I already have it on order!
How is Kiera Cass's "The Crown" not in this list?!

I'm looking forward to Glass Sword! Not on this list are The Hidden Oracle and The Hammer of Thor by Rick Riordan, and I'm really looking forward to those. I'm also looking forward to The Crown by Kiera Cass, which is the last Selection book.
NONE!!!! I really wish Goodreads would separate Erotic Romance out from the Romance category, at the end of the year all the traditional romance novels are edged out by Shades of Grey ripoffs. UGH!!!!
I want to read end of watch, but I haven't read Mr. Mercedez or FInders Keepers. I need to catch up with King

Not sure about the most anticipated but perhaps among the most useful books you'll read for your life improvement in 2016 is this one: The Art of War—Spirituality for Conflict: Annotated & Explained
