That's just rude Ion!
Everyone may have thier own taste in books.
I want to spend my summertime reading to geht further throug the wheel of time book series before the show comes out at the end of the year.
Hope everyone has some enjoyable reads this summer :)

Got them in my bookshelf, have yet to read them but will definitely start this Summer too.

I plan on finishing the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and reading To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo!

Planned reading? A strange and foreign concept!

There's going to be a show?!

Same here Erica! I am so excited for both, as well as the hunting wives :)

I love how a book makes me want to deep dive - I am doing that after reading Overground Railroad - have now read about all Green Book Traveling along with Soul City and Sundown Towns.

This comment is completely uncalled for.
You have no right to judge another's reading tastes or to make disparaging remarks about a member of the site.

Yeah, I have my tbr and such but I don't make plans. I have a book that I preordered that comes out in June and that's definitely something I'm going to read once I get it, but other than that I don't have any big plans.

You are not alone. I read them as they pop up either on KU or at the library or just on my own shelves. I read what fits my mood at the moment.

This sounds like a great book.

that includes...
Matched (the whole series). Great contemporary romance/dystopian/scifi book for your tastes
Divergent (i haven't read this in super long [time], but i know i enjoyed it a lot and decided to pick up my dusty bookshelf)
the whole riordanverse series is great, but i read every. flipping. one of them 100 times each, so I'm gonna take a break on that and start rereading Braced . This is a great relatable book about a girl who's stuck in a game of scoliosis, love, loyalty, and more. 100% recommend.
also Family Game Night and Other Catastrophes is a fun read.
lastly, Cinder and the whole Lunar Chronicles is one of the best fairytale retellings i ever read. recommend it 150%

Cannot wait for June 1st to get my hands on the new Taylor Jenkins Reid novel! Definitely my most anticipated read of the summer!

Blood of Olympus is very good, read it asap!

I am going to read Harry Potter books this summer. I have already read the first and second book, and watched the first and second movie

How about you let other people enjoy stuff

Six of Crows is a definite must read! Hope you enjoy it!

Taylor Jenkins Reid
Also in my beach tote bag which I will be carrying to my backyard are:
Sunset Beach by Mary Kay Andrews
The Roxy Letters by Mary Pauline Lowry
Under the Southern Sky by Kristy Woodson Harvey
Lost Girls:An Unsolved American Mystery by Robet Kolker
Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner
I'm going to try to catch up on the YA fantasies every one talks about 😂

No, you’re not the only one. I do the same and likewise have an uncountable number of books on my TBR list, on my kindle, in the house etc. I just finished “In An Instant”, by Suzanne Redfearn and it was soo very good. “The End of Temperance Dare”, is next up, only because I got it in the mail on Friday. And I’m sucked in by the cover picture. Supposed to be scary. After I ordered it I realized I’ve read. A lot of this author’s books ( Wendy Webb) already and very much enjoyed them. So that’s my answer to your question, lol!

too messy and complicated. :)

I don't plan either. I see the recommendations, add titles to my "want to read" shelve and then just pick what I'm in the mood for.
